Pathways Wisconsin is part of a national collaborative
funded by J.P. Morgan Chase, through the “New Skills for
Youth” grant, to ensure student career development and
transition success. Supported by the Wisconsin
Department of Public Instruction, Council of Chief State
School Officers and JP Morgan Chase
New Skills for Youth (NSFY) Grant
1. Strong WI Technical College System that has been developing Career Pathways with DWD since 2006.
Foundation of NSFY Grant
2. Planning and implementation of ACP mandate for grade 6-12 career exploration and development since 2013.
3. Successful history of employer-supported, work-based learning through Youth Apprenticeship & State Skill Standards Co-Op.
• 4 Pilot Regions with Regional Directors as independent conveners
• Bridging efforts between CEO Leaders TO Public Partners (K12, Higher Ed, Workforce & Economic Development, CBSOs)
