Our tablet solution (Grace)Independent of online access, Grace is fully compliant with paper sign off, supporting RFI and Geo positioning data. System Breakdown

Breakdown StructuresThe data in WinPCS is organized into hierarchies showing relationships between engineering objects and Areas for Construction and Systems break-down for Completion and Commissioning. This has the following advantages:

The hierarchical nature assists in ensuring that all low level components must be completed before a high level structure like a circuit, a subsystem or a milestone is complete. Allows viewing and tracking the same information with different perspectives eg, a pump can be part of a sub-system, but also a PO or a work package or area/module.

Commissiong Module The commissioning module is there to develop and store commissioning procedures. Commissioning steps can be separately defined as sequential steps, each of which can be tracked. The number and detail of the steps is up to the Commissioning group to decide.

Documentation

Checksheets Each check sheet can be scheduled to be completed in any of the project’s defined phases. Check sheets are used for inspections and tests on component parts. To each component part, there is an unlimited number of checks sheets that can be allocated defining the total scope of work.

Every project may use its own set of check sheets which can be used in WinPCS. Check sheets generated from WinPCS come fully populated with header and body areas filled out with any data required to be checked including drawing references and settings. Check sheets are uniquely marked with bar codes so that status can be reported back to WinPCS quickly and without errors. We use CDAT (Complan Document Automation Tool) - “Barcode recognition, scanning software and paperless solution devices” included with WinPCS. Allows viewing and tracking the same information with different perspectives eg, a pump can be part of a sub-system, but also a PO or a work package or area/module.

Verification and testing status is reported back into WinPCS via a fully automated process using bar codes, scanning and storage of completed sheets – actual completion documentation. Detailed reports show assigned check sheets and certificates as outstanding work, completed; in progress, hold and any corrective actions (punch items) per discipline and sub-contractor.

Surveys performed have shown that the manual handling and manage-ment of documents / check sheets consumes 20 minutes per document. Using our scanning software, this can be reduced to less than 5 minutes.

Live Documents & Pictures

All underlying data associated with asset register information as well as Word-documents, photos, PDF; CAD drawing can be opened and viewed directly from within WinPCS. This faciltates a complete Project Information Center

Status indexes remain the main stay of any project, certifying that every component has been checked for physical and functional com-pliance and that they work as a functional unit.
