What You Can Expect: Oversee the preparation and revision of prime contracts and subcontracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services. Review basic terms and conditions. Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements. Draft, prepare cost analyses, award and administer major subcontracts. Track authorizations and correspondence. Maintain detailed and organized files. Prepare contract change notices, monitor subcontractor performance Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules. Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings. Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations. Perform closing activities as needed. Track payments and deadlines. Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy. Coordinate actions with internal procurement and legal teams if needed Report status of current contract processes to management Resolve any existing contract conflicts Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization and liability exposure Resolve any contractual government property issues Assist in DCAA/DCMA audits Prepare government certifications for signature

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, FAR/DFARS

• Bachelor's Degree

• Business experience with government contracting preferred

• Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies

• Excellent reading and language comprehension

• Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization

• Effective ability to negotiate and execute subcontracts

• Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
