This rider is intended to insure that each engagement runs as smoothly as possible for the benefit of both the Contracting Party (CP) & Pato Banton. In the event that you are unable to comply with any of the following points, please contact the us asap or at least two weeks prior to the engagement to avoid any misunderstandings.

Backline Equipment Required 1 Korg Triton Keyboard with adjustable Keyboard Stand. 1 Roland Jazz Chorus or Fender Guitar Amp Complimentary Guest Passes The Artist requires 7 Guest passes and, if applicable, preferred seating for VIPs and media personnel.

Credentials The CP will be responsible to provide backstage passes for the Artist and Musicians.

Sponsors If the show has a company or sponsoring-brand, we ask to proceed in the following way to obtain our approval: The CP will notify Pato Banton in writing the name of the company and the product that is being promoted to obtain the corresponding approval. Its presence will be authorized only by Pato Banton. If there is a press conference, authorized by the Artist, no publicity or/and product of the sponsoring company should appear near the Artist when he is there.

Visas (Outside of USA) The CP will have to provide the necessary funds for working visas necessary for the Artist and all the members of his group to perform.

Sound check Artist shall be allowed at least two (2) hours for load in, set up & sound check. The dressing room and stage will be ready for Pato Banton and his group at the time allocated for sound check. All the technical requirements on the rider list must also be met at this time. The sound and lighting personnel must be present.

Dressing rooms A dressing room will be needed. It will be used by the artist & musicians. It must be clean with comfortable seats, proper lighting and with electrical outlets. The dressing rooms should be lockable and the keys must be given to Pato Banton management. In case this is not possible, a security mechanism or person should be provided to prevent theft. The access of the dressing rooms must be restricted to any person who is NOT working for Pato Banton.

Backstage Hospitality: 1 case of spring water. assorted fruit juices (grape, apple, fruit etc. ), Red Bull energy drinks, A deli tray for 3 people to include a selection of fresh white meats (NO packaged meats, no pork), assorted cheeses with a selection of fresh fruit should be provided in the dressing room during sound check or at least one hour before scheduled performance. Also include condiments; Dijon mustard, onions, pickles, tomato, lettuce, avocado, peppers. Forks, knives, spoons, paper towels, bottle opener, sufficient amount of cold & hot cups, ice in a container, hot tea with lemon & honey.

Meals / Buyouts: Hot meals for 3 people (Chicken, salmon or red snapper preferred). NO RED MEAT

Hotels Hotels should be no less than 3 star rating with complimentary breakfast and free internet access (La Quinta, Fairfield Inn/Marriott) Anything less than three star hotels will not be acceptable

Payment a. All payments ( guarantees & overages) shall be made to artist or artist’s Representative.

b. In most cases a 50% deposit will have been paid. However, if a deposit was not received any balance or payments in full are to be paid in cash upon artist’s demand at sound check and no later than 2 hours prior to performance.

Furthermore 100% payment in advance of the show date may be required if previous association deem it necessary. c. If payment is not made as stated above THE SHOW WILL NOT HAPPEN UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE IN FULL

PRIOR TO PERFORMANCE. This is no reflection on you, but a clause we have to strictly implement due to other unscrupulous promoters not paying us & taking advantage of our good nature.

Remedies In the event the purchaser does not make payments or provide the provisions of the rider herein and as stated on the contract, on or before the dates and times specified, or otherwise defaults in performing any obligations under this agreement, the Artist shall have the right to cancel the show and be entitled to retain said deposits as liquidated damages and further pursue payment in full as set forth in this agreement.
