President’s Message
Greetings & welcome to the 62nd annual Professional Photographers Association of Rhode Island Convention! We are very excited with all the things 2015 has in store for us, starting with this year's Convention. We have a great line up of speakers including Nylora Bruleigh who will be speaking on Baby photography, Steve Bedell who will be speaking on School photography and Elizabeth Homan who will be speaking on Family photography. We look forward to implementing the knowledge they share into our own businesses in order to make 2015 that much more successful.This past year has gone by so quickly that I often forget to take the time to step back and truly look at how far we've come! Our memberships have increased and our participation level has shown great improvement. We are blessed to keep adding to an already amazing group of people to network with. In an industry that doesn't require you to have many co-workers, if any at all, it is so nice to have PPARI members to share experiences with, ask questions to, and to inspire one another. As I enter my second year as president of PPARI I am excited to continue to help build this great photography family we have. As you will see by attending the 2015 convention we have a lot of great people with all different views and photography history. We hope you leave here with more friends, information & passion than you did when you got here! Let's make it a year to remember!

PPARI Members will endeavor to enhance and enrich the status of thephotographic profession by maintaining a dignity to manner in our behavior, in the presentation of our photography and photographic services, in the appearance of each studio or place of business, in all other forms of public contact.
PPARI Members will observe the highest standard of honesty in all transactions, avoiding the use of false titles, confusing or inaccurate technical terms or descriptions and misleading terms or claims.
PPARI Members will at all times endeavor to produce only those types of photographs and photographic services that will enhance the prestige of the profession to apply our best efforts on behalf of the public, and to play our part in raising the general standard of photographic craftsman-ship.
PPARI Members will show friendly spirit of cooperation with our fellow professional photographers and assist them whenever possible should they be in trouble or difficulty.
PPARI Members will at all times avoid the use of unfair competitive practices. We will assist and give knowledge to the members of our pro-fession and will encourage them individually and collectively, so that the quality of photography may constantly be raised to higher standards.
