Being the missing link between the hand held tool andthe conventional CMM, this machine is also the only one of its kind that offers such a favourable price/performance relationship.Manufactured under the SWISS MADE label on our Renens-based productionsite, each model is mounted in a dedicated assembly cell that meets the highrequirements for accuracy. each new orientation.• Possible swivelling of the stylus through to 168 positions by steps of 15°.• Indexation clearly shown.

Issued from the latest TESA’s concept enclosing a probe head coupled with a touch probe for CMM inspection. The possible indexation by increment of15° in two coordinate axes allows the stylus to be oriented in 168 positions.Touch triggering comes about through the built-in sensor with a repeatabilitythat makes this head capable to carry out measurements to the highest preci-sion level. The operator is constantly informed about the angular probe posi-tion. Single-handed release.

TESASTAR-m Motorised Probe HeadAs High-Tech component for its level of precision and perfection, thismotorised probe head is linked to the TESASTAR-r electronic interface controlled over the powerful PC-Dmis metrology software.Pivoting through to ±180°, this probe head can reach angles contained within+90° to -115° by step of 5°. The 90° rotation is achieved in less than 2 seconds. Its robust construction combined with a strong rotation torqueenable the addition of extension rods with lengths up to 300 mm.TESASTAR-m is convenient for all CMMs, regardless of their type or theirbrand. Equipped with the kinematic joint, this head can be fitted with anyTESA touch probe, but also many other ones currently offered on the market.

TESASTAR-mp with touch triggering force has two main parts, i.e. the stylusand the probe body. The coupling system for these parts that’s both isostaticand magnetic provides a positioning repeatability that let the probe be chang -ed manually or automatically, without the need for requalification of the stylus.Four models of same size, but with a varying triggering force for adaptation to a wide number of measuring applications are available. TESASTAR-mp can be oriented in 5 directions (±X, ±Y, +Z), no matter what the model used.
