Wednesday Community Meal The community meal on April 18 from 5-6pm will be Chicken alfredo & pasta, salad, bread and dessert. This meal is a free-will offering. Confirmation Students and Parents are scheduled on 4/18. The Church Chore Crew is scheduled for 4/25. All are welcome!!! VBS Vacation Bible School is June 18-22 . 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Our theme is Rolling River Rampage - Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God. Registration is open and all info can be found on the flyers and on our website. Adults and teens, we ask that you prayerfully consider volunteering for this Holy Spirit- driven, fun-filled week. ELCA National Youth Gathering Fundraising Fundraising for the ELCA National Youth Gathering is in full swing! We have 19 youth and adult volunteers heading off to Houston in June for ELCA National Youth Gathering. There are several opportunities for you to help financially support our youth on this important part of their faith journey. “Pardnership” donations April 15 th to May 20 th Make a cash donation to help offset travel and program expenses. Donation envelopes and other information in the Commons. Silent Auction – April 25 th 5 pm (Talent Show following dinner at 6pm) Come enjoy the annual talent show and bid on a theme basket or youth service. If you would like to donate a gift card or new item for our theme basket, please bring them to the office by Wednesday, April 18 th . SAVE the JUNK – SAVE the DATE We are having a Rummage Sale at CTK on Friday May 18th and Saturday May 19 th and we could use your stuff you no longer need. We will turn your good junk into cash … the cash into food … and the food goes to the hungry. Bits N Bobs for Bread! Proceeds will support the efforts of VEAP as well as our own Wednesday Night Suppers. Please call the office if you would like to be on the team to organize !!! Families Moving Forward – April 29 – May 6CTK will be hosting families from Beacon's Families Moving Forward Program beginning Sunday, April 29, through Sunday, May 6. There are many opportunities to participate in showing hospitality to the families, including: set-up/take-down - chore helpers (laundry, etc.) - menu coordinator - cooks/servers - evening hosts (childcare) - overnight hosts. We are also asking for on-call volunteers who can help if we need them at the last minute. Our guests and their needs may change throughout the week, so we appreciate your flexibility. Stop by the FMF table in the Commons to sign-up. First-time volunteers will be matched with experienced volunteers. CTK members may invite friends or family to volunteer with them. Confirmation and CROWD youth are welcome to host with an adult. If you have questions about responsibilities or the program, contact Peggy Indahl at 612-759-9898. Thank you for volunteering!

Community GardenWe are naming the community garden Bryant Park Community Garden. We feel this will represent it better; as a garden to be run by the surrounding community vs. the church. Please save all your rinsed egg shells. We are collecting them to use in the garden for slug prevention. We need a lot!!! The container will be in the social hall’s back work room. What: 3 x 3 feet raised bed garden boxes available for rent this growing season.
