Setting up Cox.net email on a Mac with the Mail application

• Click Mail icon in the dock• When box pops open select Accounts• Enter information as you see

• POP should be shown in drop down• Enter information as it is shown• Again Username is everything before the @cox.net

• Now enter description as you see.• User Name is everything before the @cox.net• Check the Authentication box.• Outgoing mail server should be as shown.

• Once you save from previous screen your new accounts should show the Cox Email POP account

• You will now have email coming into your Mail applications. Please make sure you do not have Outlook or Outlook Express running on a PC removing from the server.
