At the end, all of my reading solidified the idea that there needs to be active, worldwide solutions that assist with cleaning up our planet and ending global warming.

The topic of global warming is really expansive, and I still feel there is so much for me to learn. Overall, my understanding of the long reaching effects and the things that need to be done has more than doubled. I will not soon forget the harrowing facts that I read about the damage of smog and carbon monoxide in our atmosphere.

I have really started to think and change my habits when it comes to recycling and disposing of my own trash. I plan on starting a more intensive recycling program here at the high school to help others understand.
