Climbing for CRY: The family of the late Patrick Carolan Jnr, Coolturk, are climbing Nephin this month to raise vital funds for CRY Ireland, who have assisted our family through a very difficult time. CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) is an Irish charity that facilitates free cardiac screening, testing and support to individu-als and families who have lost loved ones to Sudden Cardiac Death or are affected by inherited cardiac con-ditions. Western Care: Have you an interest in working with people with a learning disability and / or autism? Western Care Association are recruiting Relief Staff to work in our Services based across Co. The service which is available Monday to Friday is offered in the local area to people over 65 but anyone who requests our services will be considered. School Re-opening: St. Tiernan’s College will re-open for 1st year students only on Tuesday 31st August 2021. All students return on Wednesday 1st September. Vacancies on the Rural Social Scheme. Variety of work places available, community walks, gardening, mainte-nance of graveyards, village enhancement, office admini-stration and caretaking. If you are a farmer with a herd number, you or your spouse or a sibling could be eligible to join the scheme, subject to other requirements.
