Absences

Children should be in school every day unless they are ill.

Appointments to outside agencies should be made for after school times where possible.

The school cannot give permission to take children out of school for holidays.

A note of explanation must be given to teachers detailing reason for absence. A phone call will not suffice as a written record is needed.

Important homework points. Homework folders must be handed up every morning straight

away. Homework is changed on a Friday for the following week. It is imperative that folders are handed up on a Friday so that

homework can get changed. Please use existing folder given to your child as it is labelled. Colouring is an important part of homework . Please ensure

that your child draws a picture/colours in when required. Please ensure that your child uses pencil in all written work.

Colouring pencils are not a substitute! It is important to empty homework folders of any little

treasures that your child may have created. I suggest doing this once a week to avoid a congested folder !
