RDearest Dark Beauties,

This is our last issue for 2014, can you believe it?? WUT, WUT! I am so proud of this issue. It’s the culmination of all the best of our content for the year. As you may know, 2015 holds a new format for us as we embark on something new, something different, something smaller, and something filled with so much more.

Starting in January 2015, Dark Beauty will no longer be called Dark Beauty Magazine. After months of back and forth with the owner of the domain, we finally settled on a price and purchased www.darkbeauty.com. We are working hard and moving forward to bring you the best in the alternative, avant-garde story telling inspiration content around the globe. Our growing pains are never unnoticed, as we have to keep up with the growth of our brand and the awareness we continue to make the appropriate changes and shifts to maintain our place in the market. I am super excited to have so many new INDI mags following our lead. It’s such a flattering compliment when you see smaller independents starting their mags as we did back in 2010. It’s rewarding to know you did something in your lifetime that left a mark on our history, in whatever way possible. Here is to many more successful years to come.

As we close out 2014, we are open armed to 2015, it means we are finally crossing over the to our fifth year. Business making their fifth year is huge. It means we have succeeded on so many levels. Now with that behind us, we are looking forward to more changes for the better. Newer website, our new layout and format for the mag and so many fun opportunities for upcoming artists to be involved. With monthly contests, awards, online tutorials, and the list will keep on going. It’s our hope that we continue to inspire generations to come and share our uniqueness with the world that is so inundated with over-saturation of content. We will continue to separate it and find the best for your reading, and viewing pleasures.
