With the arrest of Ravi Sharma S/o Kripa Shankar Sharma R/o H. No-96-C, Gali No-8, Prem Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi aged about 25 years, staff of P.S. Karawal Nagar of North East District Police solved the murder case registered vide FIR No-159/11 dt. 30/05/11 u/s 302 IPC& 25-Arms Act. Considering the gravity of the case. Special investigation team under the charge of Inspr. (Investigation) Vijay Shrotriya, SI Chetan Singh Meena, HC.Ravinder & other were formed. The Inspr. (Special Staff) Sanjay Gade with his team were also roped in for early breakthrough under the overall supervision of ACP/Khajuri Khas. INVESTIGATION & OPERATION: -

Initially the case was totally blind but with painstaking and relentless efforts, various pieces of evidence, testimony and information were linked to solve the intrigue puzzle of this murder. The background of deceased victim was thoroughly analyzed to learn about his background antecedent and his past movement including last seen. From the modus operandi and inspection of scene of crime, it apparently appears to be handiwork of someone who was known to the victim and who was familiar with the topography of the area.

From the local inquiry and from the family of victim, the last seen location & timing was ascertained. Reversing back step by step, it was revealed that at late night, he was seen with one Ravi Sharma, who is a shady character and does not enjoy good reputation. The needle of suspicious is pointing towards him. Allegations of the parents of the deceased, circumstantial evidences and condition of deceased on the scene of crime conclude the suspicion on Ravi, the friend of the deceased.

Initially, he tried to mislead the police by giving different version.. But on sustained examination, his contradictory statements were exposed and finally he broke down and spilled the beans. He did confessed his involvement in the case. Victim Rajesh some -how fell into bad company. As a result he incurred a heavy debt which he was unable to repay. He was to repay some amount to Ravi Sharma also but he continuously defaulted in making repayment. This led to strained relationship between them. On the fateful intervening night

of 29/30 May, 2011, victim Rajesh went with Ravi. But there were hot argument & verbal duel between them over repayment. On this Ravi got agitated and he fired upon him from his illicit katta. The victim immediately died on the spot. Seeing this he fled from the spot.

On his disclosure and at his instance the Desi katta used in the crime has been recovered from his house alongwith the empty cartridge and one live round.RECOVERY:-

Personal animosity due to non-payment resulting in bad blood.PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED:-

Ravi Sharma S/o Kripa Shankar Sharma R/o H. No-96-C, Gali No-8, Prem Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi aged about 25 years. He is unmarried and living with his younger brother and mother. He is of criminal nature and remained involved in the following cases.FIR No. 686/05 u/s 341/323/506/34/IPC P.S. Gokal Puri Delhi.

Further investigation/interrogation is in progress.

THREE DESPERATE AUTOLIFTER ARRESTED: 4 CASES OF AUTOTHEFT WORKOUT.

With the arrest of three persons namely (1) Rakesh s/o Vijaypal r/o Sangam Vihar, Loni, Gaziabad U.P. Aged 20 yrs., (2) Kuldeep Tiwari s/o Mahesh Chand Tiwari r/o Shiv mandir wali Gali, Rahul Garden, Gaziabad U.P. Aged 22yrs. (3) Raju s/o Mukesh r/o Sangam Vihar, Loni, Gaziabad U.P. Aged 18yrs. The Team of Spl. Staff North-East Distt has worked out four cases of Auto lifting and recovered 5 stolen Motor Cycles.

TEAM/INVESTIGATON

Due to sudden rise in the incidents of auto lifting in the area of North-East Distt. a special team comprising of Insp. Sanjay Gade I/C Spl. Staff/NE, SI Arun Kumar, ASI Rampal, ASI Bhisham Rana, Ct. Neeraj, Ct. Deepak, Ct Sachin, Ct Pardeep, Ct Kavinder was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. S.S.Hasan ACP/OPS/NE. to develop the information and to work out the cases of auto lifting.

On 27/05/2011 at about 8.30 PM an information was received to ASI Rampal of Spl/Staff North East Distt., that a gang of Auto lifter who are engaged in stealing motorcycle in North

East Distt. would come on stolen motor cycle in the area of Yamuna Vihar in order to steal the motor cycles. Acting on this information a trap was laid at Bus-Stand C-12, Yamuna Vihar. The staff of PS Bhajanpura who are available at the Picket was also asked to join the team. At about 8.45 PM three young boys riding a motorcycle black color discover was stopped and asked to produce the documents of the motorcycle, but they could neither produce any document of the Motor Cycle and make feign excuses on one pretext or the other. On verification it was found that the motorcycle was stolen from the area of PS Bhajanpura and already a case FIR no 235/11 u/s 379 IPC was registered in this regard.

INTERROGATION

During sustained interrogation, the identity of the accused person was revealed as (1) Rakesh s/o Vijaypal r/o Sangam Vihar, Loni, Gaziabad U.P. , (2) Kuldeep Tiwari s/o Mahesh Chand Tiwari r/o Shiv mandir wali gali, Rahul Garden, Gaziabad U.P. (3) Raju s/o Mukesh r/o Sangam Vihar, Loni, Gaziabad U.P. There are pervious criminal involvement of Kuldeep Tiwari & Raju. Kuldeep Tiwari is a member of Vipin Mavi Gang whose other members are in Jail. Whereas Raju is having two previous cases of snatching. The accused persons further disclosed that with in a short span of last six months collectively they committed unaccounted number of series of motor vehicle theft. Initially they indulged them selves in commission of crime for joy ride and later on it turned to be their profession to meet their luxury expenses. On the disclosure and instance of arrested persons four more motorcycle were recovered, two parked at Shahdara Metro-station and two at near the residence of accused Rajesh. The vehicles were stationed in order to disposed them and they were searching for the prospective buyers of the above stolen vehicle. The recovered motor cycles were found to be stolen from the area of Police station Shahdara, G.T.B. Enclave and Bhajanpura. Investigation of the case is progress

HIRED SHARP SHOOTER NABBED ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE SOLVED COUNTRY MADE PISTOL RECOVERED.

With the arrest of Sunil Bhardwaj s/o Harish R/o Mohan Garden, New Delhi, South-West District Police has worked out a sensational shoot out case which was occurred on 26/05/11 in the jurisdiction area of PS Chhawla. One country made pistol used in the commission of crime has also been recovered. INCIDENT

Sh. Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Banarsi Lal R/o Qutub Vihar, Phase-I, Goyla Dairy Delhi, aged-40 years reported that he has been residing at the above mentioned address on rent along with his family and originally hails from District Buland Shahar, U.P. and deals in real estate as a property dealer. On 26.05.11, he had to go to Baroda House for which he called his friend Dinesh with his motorcycle. At about 9:45 AM, he along with his friend Dinesh left for Baroda House on Enfield M/Cycle No. DL-9S-R-6369. They had hardly reached at the end of the street from his house when they noticed two persons waiting on a bike by the side of the road. As the complainant crossed the duo, one of them lunged towards his bike hit his friend Dinesh, and then the same person fired upon him. The bullet pierced through his right thigh and blood started oozing out. The assailant then escaped on a Pulsar M/Cycle which was already positioned at some distance. He could not note the number of the motorcycle. The scene of crime was minutely inspected by the Police team.

Upon this, a case was registered under relevant section of law at PS Chhawla and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION

This case was a major challenge for the police and the investigation was taken up in the right earnest. All the available resources of the sub-division were deployed to collect intelligence and work out the case at the earliest. During investigation, it emerged that the complainant was receiving threatening calls over the issue of a plot. The above lead was further investigated and it emerged that the complainant was embroiled in a dispute over a plot measuring 150 Sq. Yards situated at Bhagwati Garden, Uttam Nagar. A criminal case was registered against him at Police Station Uttam Nagar vide FIR No. 148/11 u/s 448/420/471 IPC on the complaint of one Jitender Sahani. Investigation also revealed that the complainant (Vinod) has also filed a civil case over the issue of said plot. Thus, strained relations had developed between Vinod and Jitender Sahani. Upon deeper probe it appeared that a local land mafia syndicate had jumped into the fray in order to capitalize on the situation

OPERATION

A detailed investigation plan was drawn up and several crack teams under the supervision of Addl. DCP/SWD Sh Parmaditya was formed to collect evidence, gather information and pursue the available leads. A team comprising of Inspr AATS/SWD, Insp Sandeep Gupta(SHO/Chhawla), SI Naresh, HC Kuldeep, Ct. Sukhbir, Ct. Ramavtar and Ct. Surender received an input that a local goon namely Dinesh Bardhwaj is involved in the case. Police swung into action

and several raids were conducted in the area of Uttam Nagar, Najafgarh, Jaffarpur and Chhawla. Strenuous efforts of Police paid dividends and finally the above team succeeded in nabbing the accused Dinesh Bhardwarj.

INTERROGATION

Accused Sunil Bhardwaj was subjected to interrogation wherein initially he tried to mislead the Police by saying that he is not concerned with this incident and took an alibi that he was in Haryana when the alleged incident took place. However, upon sustained grilling he admitted that he had fired at the victim and that he was accompanied by his friend Lal Singh. He further disclosed that he had been hired by one Dagar to eliminate the complainant Vinod. Mr Jitender Sahani would be the obvious suspect because of the dispute between them and that he would be ultimately arrested. In this way both the claimants to the plot would be removed from the scene and Dagar and his syndicate would get the plot transferred in their name, sell it and distribute the proceeds among themselves. The accused also disclosed that a handsome amount was be paid to him for this task. He was given an initial amount and remaining amount would be paid in installments as and when the task would get accomplished. He was also provided with a mobile phone and instructed by his hirers to use it only for talking to complainant Vinod and Mr Jitender Sahani so as give an impression that he had been hired by Mr Sahani to eliminate Vinod. A pistol was arranged for the purpose and a getaway vehicle was also provided to him for the mission.

Upon his disclosure, all out efforts were made to recover the weapon of offence and the same was got recovered upon his pointing out. His other accomplices are still at large. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab them at the earliest.

Sunil Bhardwaj (age-26 years) s/o of Harish r/o Mohan Garden, Delhi, is a school dropout of class 7 th and presently uemployed. He has following previous involvements;-

1. Case FIR No. 145/11 u/s 411 IPC PS Uttam Nagar.2. Case FIR No. 427/11 u/s 452/506 IPC PS Uttam Nagar.

With the arrest of two snatchers namely Vinod (age 19 years) s/o Ashok Kumar R/o JJ Colony, Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi and Neeraj @ Vinod (age 20 years) s/o Rajkumar R/o JJ Colony, Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, South-West District Police has worked out a snatching case. The duo caught red handed and the snatched gold chain also recovered.

NAME AND PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS

1. Vinod (age 19 years ) s/o Ashok kumar R/o JJ Colony, Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, is a school drop out of 5th class. His father is sweaper in Metro and has no control over his nefarious activities.

2. Neeraj @ Vinod (age 20 years) s/o Rajkumar R/o JJ Colony, Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, is a school dropout of 7th class. His father is tailor and running in debt hence his family’s pecuniary condition is weak.

GIST OF CASE

Complainant Mrs. Usha Devi w/o late Sh. Sanjeev Kumar r/o Kiran Garden, Matiyala Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi reported that on 31.05.11 at around 6:30 PM, she along with her son namely Ravi were standing nearby road beneath East Metro station, Uttam Nagar. Instantly, two boys came to them and started arguing with his son for no rhyme or reasons. One of them managed to snatch her chain and passed it to his associate. On this, her son shown valour and overpowered one of them. Seeing the commotions, Head Const. Kalyan of PS Bindapur who was on patrolling in the area, reached on the spot and sensed the incident promptly. Head Const. pounced upon the snatchers and with the help of complainent’s son Ravi overpowered the fleeing duo. Their identity revealed as Vinod s/o Ashok Kumar and Neeraj s/o Rajkumar both residents of Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. Upon this a case under relevant section has been registered in PS Bindapur.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

Accused were subjected to interrogation, they revealed that they are good friends and are from the same locality. They lived lavish lifesyles and needed extra money as their earnings could not finance their luxuries. They further revealed that financial condition of their families is also not good enough, that is why they indulge in snatching cases and bankrolled their expensive habits and lifestyle with the money.

Accused further revealed that they use to spot easy target like woman or old person. Therafter, as per plan they pick up quarrel over trivial issues in order to deviate the attention of the target and snatch his belongings.

ROBBER ARRESTED FOR ROBBING TSR DRIVER

With the arrest of a desperate robber Rohit @ Rahul, aged 22 years s/oVijay Kumar r/o DDA Flats, Mata Sundari Road, New Delhi, the staff of Central District has solved a case of robbery committed with a TSR driver on DDU Marg, New Delhi. One knife and the robbed articles cash, Mobile Phone, Driving License and Badge have been recovered from his possession.

INCIDENT

One Pramod Kumar Singh r/o New Ashok Nagar, Delhi informed that he is a TSR driver. On 29.05.11 at about 10:45 PM, he was going to ITO from Ajmeri Gate Railway Station in his TSR. On the way, two boys hired the TSR for Tilak Bridge Railway Station. When he reached at crossing of Mahavat Khan Road & DDU Marg, the boys seated in his TSR robbed him of his mobile phone, cash Rs. 500/-, Driving License and Badge at the point of knife and fled away. A call was made to PCR and SI Rajesh Shah, I/C PP LNJP along with staff reached the spot where the complainant informed that the accused boys had escaped on DDU Marg. Search for the accused boys was made in direction pointed out by the complainant. During the search, the accused boys were noticed in Hathi Park, DDU Marg who were chased and one of them was apprehended whereas the other managed to escape from the spot.

The identity of the apprehended boy was revealed as Rohit r/o DDA Flats, Mata Sundari Road, New Delhi. On his search, the looted articles cash, Mobile Phone, Driving License and Badge were recovered from his possession. One knife used in crime was also recovered from his possession. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 66/11 under appropriate sections of law was registered at PS I.P. Estate and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION

Accused Rohit was subjected to sustained interrogation during which he disclosed that he along with his associate Arun used to commit crime in the surrounding areas of ITO, DDU Marg, New Delhi Railway Station. Mainly, they used to target TSRs during late night hours and used to rob the TSR driver at the point of knife at lonely place. On verification of his antecedents, it was learnt that he is previously involved in three cases of theft and hurt. The accused disclosed that they are fond of costly wine and taking meals in big hotels for which they commit crime. Further investigation is under progress to arrest the absconding accused.

Sensational case of Dacoity cum murder of a businessman of Gandhi Nagar, Delhi solved and two accused persons Rasidul Mian and Bashir Ansari arrested.

A team of Special Cell led by Inspector Videsh Singhal under the supervision of Sh. L.N. Rao, ACP, Special Cell, Southern Range arrested two criminals namely Rasidul Mian and Bashir Ansari who are involved in a sensational dacoity cum murder of a Readymade Garment’s businessman Sheikh Sattar of Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. A mobile phone robbed from deceased has been recovered from their possession.

After the incident of murder and dacoity on 27th/28th May 2011, information was received that a criminal involved in dacoity cum murder of businessman Sheikh Sattar of Gandhi Nagar, Delhi is working in a garment factory in the area of Village Lado Sarai. This information was further developed and suspect was zeroed after mounting day & night surveillance.

On 31st May 2011 specific information was received and a raiding party led by Inspr. Videsh Singhal comprising Inspr. Sanjeev Pahwa, SI Girish Kumar, SI Avinash Singh, SI Ashish Kumar, HC Rajesh Sharma, HC Nirdesh Kumar, HC Vijay Pratap, HC Sanjeev, Ct. Pawan and Ct. Nand Kishore was formed to act upon the information. The team reached near IGNOU Study Center, Lado Sarai. On pointing out of informer, a Garment factory at Lado Sarai was raided at about 6:15 pm and after a scuffle accused was overpowered, whose name and address was revealed as Rashidul Mian (Aged 26 years) r/o Boro Kukuria, Talashur Gudi, PS Shamak Tola, Distt. Jalpaiguri (WB) presently residing at Lado Sarai Village, Delhi. On his instance another accused Bashir Ansari (Aged 26 years) r/o VPO Jasodanga PS Alipur Dwar Distt. Jalpaiuguri (WB) presently residing at Sector 7, Rohini was arrested. From the possession of Bashir Ansari the mobile phone robbed from the deceased Sattar was also recovered.

During the course of interrogation accused Rashidul Mian disclosed that he is residing in Delhi from the last 13/14 years and working as a stitching tailor in different readymade Garment factories. For about last 20 days he was working in Lado Sarai factory and prior to this he also worked in a Garment Factory of Sheikh Saidul, elder brother of deceased, at Gandhi Nagar, where he came in contact with one Zahir Shekh @ Master and got friendly to him as both of them belong from the same State i.e. West Bengal.

On 27th May, 2011, Zahir Shekh @ Master telephonically invited Rasidul and his friends for robbing his landlord Sattar. Rasidul readily agreed as he was tempted to receive part of the loot. Rashidul Mian along with his friend Izrail reached Red Fort where two more persons namely Bashir and Izhar Ali also joined them. All the four reached near pre-destined place i.e. Masjid, Multani Mohalla, Gandhi Nagar, where Zahir met them and they chalked out the plan. After discussing the plan all of them reached the house where Zahir was a tenant at III Floor while land lord Sattar was residing on II Floor of this house. Zahir and Izrail knocked the door

and entered on the second floor where Sattar was residing. As planned, other three also entered in the premises of Sattar and robbed Sattar who attempted stiff resistance. During scuffle, four of them caught hold of Sattar while Zahir strangulated him with help of a cloth/Gamcha. Sattar died on spot and all of them ransacked the house and took off the valuables, jewellery and cash. Zahir fled away with all looted booty. Bashir took the mobile phone of deceased Sattar and removed the SIM as he was in need of mobile phone. Accused Bashir Ansari also disclosed that he resides in Delhi for last 4/5 years and was working in Garment factories. On 27th May, 2011, Zahir called them for purpose of robbing Sattar, his land lord and murdered him as the deceased put stiff resistance.

Concerned police of Gandhi Nagar has been informed.

“ Okhla robbery of 205 ACs solved ” A team of Insp Subhash Vats under the supervision of Sh S.K Giri ACP/ Spl Cell NDR

arrested one Mohd Arif (aged 26 yrs) r/o Krishna Puram Tundla Firozabad UP, on 26 th May, 2011 at about 2.15 pm and total 205 Air conditioners of LG company valued Rs 25 lacs approximately and a 6 tyre cantre truck (robbed valued Rs.12 lacs), from the area of PS Okhla Industrial Area south East Distt Delhi have been recovered at his instance from Mathura UP. A case FIR No 154 dt 22.05.2011 U/S 392, 328, 411, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Okhla in this regard. Later on during the course of interrogation the local police arrested two accused persons namely Jaiparkash (aged 35 yrs) r/o Palwal & Ikram (aged 27 yrs) r/o Greater Noida.

The facts of the case are that on 19th May, 2011 a cantre laden with the 205 ACs of LG company was parked by his driver Aas Mohd in Okhla Industrial area outside the LG Company’s godown. These ACs were brought from Hyderabad. The vehicle could not get entry in the company’s godown. The driver was asked to wait outside. The driver asked his cleaner to wait with vehicle as it will take one or two days to get entry in the godown. Thereafter driver went to his village in Mewat and deputed one driver Pandit to take care of the vehicle till he returned from his village. This new driver Pandit conspired with his associates namely Mohd Arif, Akram and Babu. They planned to rob the truck full of air conditioners alongwith the vehicles.

As per plan on 19th May, 2011 all of them assembled in Greater Noida at the house of Akram and after taking meal they reached Okhla. Both Mohd Arif and Akram kept waiting in the vehicle/truck of Pandit, wheras Babu and Pandit overpowered the cleaner. He was given sedatives in the tea & they hijacked the truck to Khurja. The cleaner i.e. Mohd. Alim who was in semiconscious condition gained consciousness on the way. When Mohd. Alim asked as to where he is, and who these people were he was threatened and thrown out of the truck near Buland Sahar canal. All of them took away the truck and reached Khurja and met one Kale who was the prospective buyer of the LG Acs. However, the deal could not be finalized. Thereafter Pandit returned to Delhi from Khurja & Akram and Kale stayed back. Mohd Arif and Babu took the truck to Mathura and parked it in Cantonment area. They contacted further buyers in Bihar and Etawa but the deal could not be finalized due to rates of ACs. They parked the vehicle in Mathura Cantonment area. Babu asked one of his known people to take care of the truck till they return. They were in search of the buyer. However, they were apprehended by Special Cell team which led to recovery of 205 ACs from Mathura at their instance.

Mohd. Arif is previously involved in cases of robbery and NDPS Act from Delhi & Lucknow.

The staff of Police Post Hari Nagar, West District has done an excellent work by arresting two extortionists namely Manjeet S/o Rame Ramavat R/o RZ-F1, Gali No. 23B, Sadh Nagar, Palam Colony, Delhi and Sanjay Kumar @ Sonu S/o Rajender Kumar R/o RZ-6J/4 Gali No. 4 Indra Park, Palam Colony, Delhi. The above said persons were extorting the owners of RTVs on the Route from Kailash Puri to Tilak Nagar. .

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST

In the recent past, incidents of minor clashes between the Drivers/Conductors of commercial vehicles on the roads have come to notice occasionally. On 31.05.11, some PCR calls were received at different police Stations regarding breaking of front glasses of different RTVs by two boys. The offenders had chosen the RTVs plying on the same Route i. e. Kailash Puri to Tilak Nagar Metro Station. Out of these vehicles, one was DL 1V 7056, the front glasses of the same had been broken at Clock Tower, Hari Nagar. The complainant Sh. Sushil Kumar S/o Late Sh. Santosh Kumar R/o RZE-668/22A, Gali No. 19, Part II, Sadh Nagar, Palam Colony, Delhi, a driver reported that two boys were coming to all RTVs owners for 4-5 days. They were demanding Rs. 100/- per day from each RTV as Hafta (Rangdari Tax) otherwise they would not allow them to run their RTVs peacefully on the route from Kailash Puri to Tilak Nagar Metro Station.

On 31.05.11 at about 11:45 AM, these two boys came on Motor Cycle No. DL 9S X 7299. They had intercepted his RTV No. DL 1V 7056 at Clock Tower and stopped the RTV. They demanded the Hafta (Rangdari Tax) from the driver and on refusal, they had broken the glass of the RTV. The driver told the matter to the owner who asked him to stay there. Meanwhile, another driver, Rajbir of RTV No. DL 1V 5736 also came to him and told that similar incident has happened to him at Junk Market Maya Puri. The same boys demanded money from him also and then broke the front glass of RTV No. DL 1V 5736. The complainant and other RTV owner had told that the offenders were wandering on the same route in order to extort money from the other RTVs drivers. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter, a team comprising of PSI Sachin and HC Balwan was formed at once. When the complainant and other drivers/owners were present at Clock Tower, the offenders reached there and again tried to threaten them. But this time, the offenders were apprehended by the police party. A Case FIR No. 242/11 U/S 384/341/506/34 IPC dated 31.05.11 PS Hari Nagar was registered and the investigation was taken up accordingly.

INTERROGATION:-

On thorough interrogation, accused Manjeet told that he was released from jail on 24.05.11. In jail, he came in contact of other criminals who told him that the common man get frightened from a criminal and they advised him to take benefit of his criminal record. As soon as he came out from jail, he initially thought to get a RTV on contract basis as he knew that a man can earn a hand some amount from a RTV after all expenditures. But no RTV was available, hence he got an idea to take Hafta (Rangdari Tax) of all RTVS on this route which are about 21 in total. For the last 4-5 days he along with his associates Sanjay @ Sonu was threatening the RTV drivers regularly. On 31.05.11, in order to create terror for the various RTVs owners, they intercepted different RTVs on the route. Initially they demanded the money from them and then damaged the vehicles when they did not get the amount. They damaged the following vehicles on the same day:-

On 30.05.2011 an information was received to SI Manoj Kumar of Spl. Staff that a Satta is being organized by one Niranjan Singh regularly at N Block H.No.175-IInd Floor, JJ Colony, Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. Niranjan Singh used to take commission on Satta from the wining party. On this immediately a team consisting of SI Charan Singh, HC Moti Ram, HC Kirori Mal, HC Jai Bhagwan, HC Sunil Kumar, Ct. Sanjay, Ct. Sandeep, Ct. Yashbir, Ct. Sushil and Ct. Amarjeet under the supervision of Inspr. Spl. Staff was formed. A raid was conducted at the said premises and Rs.1,04,500/- (stake money) was recovered and seven persons namely Niranjan Singh, Sachin Sahwani, Avadh Lal, Hem Raj, Omi Choudhary, Vipin Kumar, Manjit Singh and Gagandeep Verma found playing cards/gambling were arrested u/s 3/5/12//9/55 Delhi Public Gambling Act, 1867.

Similarly on 30.05.2011 an information was received that a Satta is being organized by one Dharam Dev Khaiwali at his H. No.5/52 Moti Nagar, Delhi. Dharam Dev Khaiwali used to take commission on Satta from the wining party. On this immediately a team consisting of SI Kamal Kohli, ASI Ishwar Dayal, HC Rishal Singh, HC Randhir, Ct. Juned and Ct. Sandeep under the supervision of Inspr. Raj Kumar, SHO/Moti Nagar was formed. A raid was conducted at the said premises and Rs.35,000/- (stake money) was recovered and five persons namely Dharam Dev, Manish, Baldev, Neeraj & Shiv Raj found playing cards/gambling were arrested u/s 3/4/5//12/9/55 Delhi Public Gambling Act, 1867.

GANG OF BURGLARS BUSTED

The staff of PS Mundka has done exceptionally good work by arresting the burglar namely Sandeep Singh S/o Suresh Singh and receivers of stolen property namely, Naveen Aggarwal S/o Manohar Lal and Avdesh Kr. Gupta S/o Lt. Sh Omkar Gupta and worked out the case of burglary registered vide FIR No. 82/11, u/s 457/380/411/34 IPC, PS Mundka. One Mahindra champion Tempo, Three copper melted blocks and pieces of copper pipes were recovered.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

On 28.05.11, Sh. Amol Gupta S/o Sh. P.C. Gupta R/o 17-18, Birla Flats, Arya Samaj Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi, reported theft of rolls of copper pipes from his godown located at 438/1-41 Firni Road , Budh Bazaar Road, Mundka, Delhi by breaking open the locks of the Godown. On this a case vide FIR No. 82/11, u/s 457/380 IPC, PS Mundka was registered and investigation was taken up.

A special team consisting of SI Kamaldeep, HC Kapoor Singh, Ct Khemender and Ct. Suresh. Sources was formed. A lot of members of ‘Eyes and Ears’ scheme were motivated to collect intelligence on the incident. One of them came forward with the information that he had seen a tempo bearing No. DL1LN-6616, green colour, entering this particular godown 3-4 days back. The police staff while making massive search for the tempo was able to detect it parked at Rani Khera More Mundka. The driver whose name was known as Sandeep Singh S/o Suresh Singh joined the investigation and he was put to sustained interrogation who finally divulged that he was employed by, a well known kabari of Prem Nagar area to steal goods from godown and further dispose off to known scrap dealers . He confessed to have committed the crime along with one Raj, hero and janab and also disclosed that he unloaded the stolen goods the places at Prahlad Pur Rohini and Mayapuri scrap markets. On his pointing out three copper melted blocks and copper pipes were recovered and the receivers of stolen property namely Naveen Aggarwal S/o Manoharlal R/o f-19/35, sector 8, Rohini. and Avdesh Gupta S/o Lt. Sh. Omkar Gupta R/o RZ-126A/66, Gali No. 13, east Sagarpur, Delhi have also been arrested along with Sandeep. Further efforts are on to nab the kingpin Sahjad and other gang members namely Manish, Raj, Hero and janab.

Case of day light murder-cum-robbery of Rs. 10 Lacs in the area of PS Mansarovar Park worked out.

A loaded country made pistol and one live cartridge recovered.

On 31/01/2011 a day light robbery cum murder was committed in the area of Mansarovar Park. Motor cycle borne assailants had shot dead Vinod s/o Vikram Singh r/o Khera Village, North-East Delhi and looted Rs. 10 Lacs.

On 26/05/2011, on specific information Nissar r/o West Karawal Nagar, Delhi was apprehended from Khajoori Chowk, Karawal Nagar, Delhi. One country made weapon alongwith one live cartridge was recovered from his possession. Case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered.

Interrogation revealed that Nissar alongwith his associates Raj Kishore @ Captain r/o Karawal Nagar, Delhi, Satpal Singh @ Raj r/o Karawal Nagar, Delhi, Rohtash r/o Karawal Nagar, Delhi and Raju r/o Karawal Nagar, Delhi had information that Vinod an employee of a cable factory in the area of PS Mansarovar Park carries with him large amount of cash. They conducted reccee of his movements and on 31/01/2011 all of them armed with deadly weapons followed Vinod from Darya Ganj. Nissar and Satpal @ Raj were on one motor cycle while Raj Kishore @ Captain and Raju were on another motor cycle. At around 4.30 PM when Vinod on his motor cycle reached near his office in the area of Mansarovar Park, Nissar overtook Vinod and blocked his way. Satpal @ Raj got down, shot dead Vinod and forcibly took his bag containing Rs. 10 Lacs.

Local police has been informed about the arrest of Nissar. Further efforts are on to apprehended the absconding accused persons.

The team that apprehended the accused was led by Inspr. Manoj Pant and consisted of ASI Rajveer Singh, HC Pawan Kumar, Ct. Deepak, Ct. Ravinder Bhati and Ct. Sajjad Ali and was supervised by ACP Bir Singh and under overall supervision of Addl.DCP Sanjay Bhatia.

ONE NIGERIAN NATIONAL INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF COCAINE ARRESTED.

13 Gms OF COCAINE SEIZED.

PRICE OF COCAINE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY RS. 10 LACS.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Kuldeep Singh and consisting of SI Paramjeet Singh, SI Bhagwan Singh, HC Parvinder Singh, HC Subhash, Const. Jai Parkash and Const. Sandeep under the supervision of Addl. DCP Sanjay Bhatia have apprehended a drug trafficker and have recovered 13 Gms of Cocaine. The Cocaine recovered is worth Rs. 10 Lacs in the International Market.

 Information was received on 27/05/2011 by SI Paramjeet Singh that a drug

trafficker involved in trafficking of Cocaine in Delhi would come near Safdar Jung Enclave, New Delhi to deliver Cocaine to a contact. A trap was laid and a Nigerian National was apprehended. He was identified as Nnamani Kingsley Friday (aged 39 years) s/o Nnamani r/o Nigeria. 13 Gms Cocaine was recovered. A case under the appropriate sections of the NDPS Act was registered. 

Nnamani Kingsley Friday was subjected to intensive interrogation. He disclosed that he came to Delhi in the month of February, 2011. He wanted to import textile items from India. He visited various cities of India to start his business. During his visits he came across a Nigerian woman indulging in selling of Cocaine. He took on rent a place in Safdarjung Enclave area and started selling Cocaine in Delhi. To earn easy money he started supplying Cocaine to clients in the area of Safdarjung Enclave.

TWO SOPHISTICATED PISTOL/REVOLVER ALONG WITH SEVEN LIVE CARTRIDGES HAVE BEEN RECOVERD.

Vijay and Ct. Ravinder under the supervision of ACP M.C.Katoch and overall supervision of Addl. DCP P.S. Kushwah has busted a gang of interstate gun runners. 2 sophisticated pistol/revolver alnogwith 7 live cartridges have been recovered.

Information was received by HC Mahesh on 26/05/2011 that the gun runners on a Bajaj Pulsor motor cycle would come to Wazirbad fly over for delivery of weapons to a contact. On specific information a trap was laid and 3 persons were apprehended. They were identified as i) Mohd. Sajid (aged 28 years) s/o Sabuddin r/o Meerut, UP, ii) Shah Alam (aged 26 years) s/o Kalwa Khan r/o Meerut, UP iii) and Sirajuddin (aged 22 years) s/o Ramzan r/o Meerut, UP. 2 sophisticated pistol/revolver and 7 live cartridges were recovered. A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered. The Motor Cycle on which they were riding was seized.

All the accused persons were subjected to intensive interrogation. They disclosed that they procured the arms from Kithore in Distt. Meerut, U.P. and sold it to criminals of UP and Delhi for 30,000/- to 35,000/-.

snatched mobile phone near Mukundpur Red light. On specific information a trap was laid and snatcher Jitender (aged 20 years) s/o Suresh Chand r/o Nathu Pura, Burari, Delhi was apprehended. One mobile phone snatched from the area of PS Mukharjee Nagar was recovered. Bajaj Splendor Motor Cycle used by him for committing snatching was seized. On 03/04/2011 he had snatched a mobile phone from a girl in the area of Mukherjee Nagar. A case was registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar. With his apprehension this case has been worked out.

 Jitender was subjected to intensive interrogation. He disclosed that he is a

school drop out. He started snatching mobile phones for earning money for spending on his girl friends.

Nagar, Delhi aged 18 years alongwith one juvenile, the North East District police has worked out a case of attempt to murder registered at PS Jyoti Nagar within 36 hours. The weapons of offence have also been recovered at the instance of the accused persons.

INCIDENT:-On 30.5.11, one Kishor Singh @ Munna reported that while he alongwith his friend Anil

Kumar was going towards Ashok Nagar on bicycle, their bicycle hit with one pedestrian on the road. Some hot arguments took place between them. Thereafter, the said pedestrian walked away and after some time returned with other person on the spot. Then he assaulted with knife on the person of Anil Kumar, due to which he got injured. Accordingly, a case of attempt to murder was registered at PS Jyoti Nagar vide FIR No. 229/11 u/s 307/34 IPC & investigation was carried out.

 TEAM: -

To apprehend the accused persons and workout the case, immediately dedicated team headed by Insp. Bani Singh Ahalawat, SHO/Jyoti Nagar comprising of ASI Satbir Singh, HC Dilbag, HC Om Prakash and Ct. Ajay was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Ram Singh, ACP/Gokal Puri.  INVESTIGATION & OPERATION:-

As the probe intensified and matter was minutely and deeply focused. From the analysis of scene of crime, there was prima face found to be a matter of road rage. It was totally a blind case as no one knew the name and address of the assailants. However, local intelligence and inquiry conducted by Police revealed that assailants were of the same age group and local residents as they were seen several times nearby. During the investigation, a vital clue was also established that the assailants have suffered nail scratches on their neck during the scuffle.

Therefore massive manhunt was launched to apprehend assailants and the team conducted intensive door to door search and checked each and every resident of the locality of the same age group. During the exercise, when team was conducting door to door survey in area of Ashok Nagar, one person tried to flee but due to alert of staff, he was overpowered. His identity was established as Nand Kishore above. On inspection of his body, some nail scratches on his neck was found.

During sustained interrogation, he confessed that on the day of incident, he had stabbed the injured person with knife while his friend juvenile had injured the complainant Kishor Singh with iron punch as they were angry with the beatings given to them by the complainant and injured Anil Kumar.

On the instance of Nand Kishore, weapon of offence i.e. one iron chopper was recovered. His friend juvenile was also apprehended along with iron punch, which was used by him during committing crime.  MOTIVE:-

Reason for the Attempt to murder was road rage between victim and the accused persons.  RECOVERY:-         Weapon of offence i.e. one iron chopper and one iron punch.         Blood stained clothes of accused persons. PROFILE:-

1. Nand Kishor S/o Rambir Singh R/o E-605, Gali No. 21, Ashok Nagar, Delhi aged 18 years is studying in class 10th for the last three years as he has failed two times. His parents are doing private job. His parents have shifted at the present address recently.

 2. Juvenile is class mate of Nand Kishore.
