I think that I had a well formatted speech and followed an appropriate structure and was well organized, but could of been better.

Use quality openings

I would say that my speech had quite a good opening but could of started off with more of a shock or a better startling statement.

Use paragraphs effectively

I think that my paragraphs were quite effective but could have been set out a bit more efficiently.

I think that my written passage was detailed and descriptive but could have had a bit more to bulk up my speech. But the problem is if I did i8t would drag on for too long.

Set out arguments and draw them to a conclusion effectively

I thought that I drew the audience to quite a few good arguments with conclusions. But I could of gained more suspense in my speech if I had a few more good reasons

1. In what way(s) do you think you could have improved the delivery of your speech?

I think that I could have been for expressive as far as delivering my speech, also I

should of put more tone change and passion into my voice and possibly used more hand and arm action.

2. After watching everyone’s speech, what were some things that stood out in your mind?

3. Form the other speeches I heard, some of them made me recognize the highlights of my speech and also what I didn’t do so well on, and that I would consider putting into my speech next time if we had another one.

4. How did you prepare for the speech?5. I prepared for my speech by memorizing my speech not thourghly so that if I did

forget anything I practiced so that I could keep on going and get back on track. Then I did memorize my speech so that I didn’t have to look at my cue cards. Also if I did need to look down if I forgot something, I had practiced so I could keep on going till the parts I remembered.

4. What were two things that you think were ‘fantastic’ about your speech?

I think that the highlights of my speech was the contend giving reasoning and refuting opposition really enjoyed writing my speech but the delivery is a different matter for it was a lot harder

5. How do you feel about giving speeches?I have tried to put as much passion into my voice as I can but still I get nervous and I

am not as confident or fluent as when I practiced. So the main thing that I need to focus is my delivery to help to get me into the finals .
