prayer at 703 pm

accept as printed seconded by N1r Perry Motion carried unanimously

3 BUILDING PERMIT LOT 25 BI 5 After a brief discussion Mayor Kendrick sug

gested to Council that this item be tabled in order that the Clerk might check the

Southern Building Code relative to the wooden frame construction in Comnercial zones

After some discussion relative to the proposed dedication Mr Perry suggested the

Council accept the property as Mr Burt had previously recomnended Mayor Kendrick

explained that the Council would need a copy of a legal description of the propertyapproved by the Town Attorney before any fornal action could be taken Mr Phillipsstated that as to reservations on the property he would only ask that buildings and

fences placed on it follow the same architectural lines of the Townhouses that he

would be constructing Attorney Pcwell reconrcended that the Council treat this dedica

tion in the sane manner as the County would a Subdivision plat This plat wnuld

include all legal descriptions and all restrictions or reservations and would be the

dociunent to convey title to the Town After a short discussion between Mr Phillipsand the Town Attorney IIr Phillips indicated he would follow that course Mrs Balsley

suggested the Council should follow the recomnendations of the Attorney No further

action vas taken on this item

Balsley to accept Resolution 797 as presented seconded by P2r Perry Motion carried

unanimously

6 ADQFYIION OF RESOLUIION3ELATIVE TO DOUBLE TAXATICt Motion by b4r Perry to table

this resolution relative to IbubleTation until more study of the wording can be ac

corrqlish seconded by Mrs Balsley Motion caxried unanimusly Mayor Kendrick asked

Clerk to check the wording and place this item on the agenda for the November meeting

Nlotion by Mrs Balsley to approve the payment of 1400 which is ninetentYrs of 3500less 1750 previously paid for the Comprehensive Plan and the change of date for the

adoption of the Comprehensive Plan seconded by Mr Perry Motion carried unanimously

9 QRKS REPORT ASEWAC BILLINGSClerk infornied Council that he had not re

ceived infozmation as to the cost of the forrns for sewage billing fram Vitro Press

however he assured the Council that if they wished he could put sewage billing into

effect at anytme B0UTSIDE LICiTINGClerk informed Council that he had talked

with Gulf Pawer about placing a pole for outside lighting at the corner of the buildingand they informed him that it wnuld cost 692 per month for 7000 lrs plus fuel ad

justment Mayor Kendrick directed Clerk to check further on this subject CIlVTERGOVERNNNiAL OOUNCILNErINGClerk informed to Cbuncil he attended the last Intergcvernmental Meeting which was held September 26 1979 and Mr Hersch is pushing for an single

sign ordinance one that would be the same in the County and Municipalities DAUDITFY 7879Clerk also infoxmed to Council that the Auditor has began the Audit for 7879
