Hello once again. Happy Holidays as that time approachesupon us fast as the wind blow. I know its been cold in themornings lately, make sure you have your exposed pipes

wrapped in insulated sheathing to help avoid a costly repair, at a no bettertime...just looking out for you.

I do want to take a quick moment to Thank the people behind the scene, here help-ing your favorite lil newspaper of Freeport. The Mayor for his time in keeping us up todate with his exclusive column for ESNews. Also Rian for her column On Page 11, soentertaining and informative she is! There are numerous people who keep me in the news, media releases help us inform you. It also shows that there are people doing there jobs,

public assistant information highways via the internet.I do want to remind you to E-mail me anytime. Tell me what your thinking about with

the way Freeport is heading towards the future. We enjoy the evidence finders I have insecret, those who research investigative news. Lets make those public position peoplework for us, the citizens who care. Every complaint listed shows there are problems. Wecan help bring the situation to light. I have no problem standing up for what I say and for

the evidence I find I will bring it to you, the public. Its amusing to me those violators we spoke of last edition still building within the set-back rules set forth by county codes. When these people drive up and down the roadsaround here, cant they see that the complaints from years ago are coming true right beforeyour eyes? Just as said before, even if you fine them, then what? Enforce what is writtenor stop having your organization waste our tax dollars. Peoples rights are being violatedwhen others are not in compliance to the codes written. No different from the nationallevel groups that are useless and wasting tax dollars. Think Im wrong? Proof is there.

It is also amusing to point out to the law enforcers, the laws in place for our county. Most of them assume its codes for the south end of the county only. That is NOT true, they are county rules and ordinances, they should be enforced like any other law. Unlessour commissioners are re-writing the rules or thinking that turning a blind eye to a situa-

tion will make it go away. I remember in a south Walton court room, one man saying notto worry about his illegal business growing, for they would be moving in 4 yrs? Thatwas 11 years ago, whos laughing at the system? Papers to prove it are in court.

Call it what it is, but when I see a list of peoples names of bad or wrong doing, situa-tions that call for justice. One way or another? A few folks are looking into the legality ofthe lack of action by the county. Many residents are unhappy with road conditions alongHwy. 331. I agree that those in clear view of passers by, should keep their properties to anew standard. But even with what is already written, they are not enforcing, junk, debrisand cars within the 30 frontage claus when they sold to the state. Why bother? They cansee it from the road and do nothing. Only if you complain? Raise your standards and helpus residents get the interest in selling our homes for the value they should be.

There is nothing wrong as long as you are enforcing a Law, ordinance or code. Thecourt house has all records and deeds showing ownership, description and details to thedeed. If I can research and find out the truth, why does it take so long for enforcement? Iwould love to hear more feedback from those of you who wrote in. I offer an extension tothe department over seeing these complaints, to also E-mail me. I would like to print youractions of violators. If needed, I can post addresses for the public to get to see what wehave found. Lets get more folks involved and make them do their job!

With the large number of responses to us about our findings. I am certain that there willbe more as we investigate these matters. I sincerely hope that we can help the situation getcorrected before its too late. People saying buildings were in place for many years? Mostare lies. Who wants to admit they are wrong and have to relocate or redesign your layoutof your property? I had to some years ago, when I was lied to about my driveway and

garage being on my property, which to find out it wasnt. Seemed like a trusting oldercouple, Jones, but the man knew he was lying, once I showed the survey.

In conclusion this editorial is written with the premise that as a whole unit, citizens, either the county steps up or the people will come forth and correct what is wrong. Whyhave these codes if none are enforced to any degree?

With your feedback as readers, we can make a change around this area. You see howmessed up big government has been lately. If we start here in our own backyard, we canshape our county into a place that many people will come to work and live here.

I also feel that through the power of the press, we can get the attention of those indi-viduals to rectify what they have done or be fined. Fines go up after each offense too. Ifyou know of any additional topics that you may have a problem with dont hesitate to E-

mail me anytime. This is an effort to stop violators and make things better. One last thing, with the season of giving and helping now here. Please donate as youcan. If your family needs some assistance, contact The Freeport Fire Dept. or the TownPlanters society, they may be able to help in some way. Next edition will be the Christ-mas edition. If you have any special wishes or Advertisement youd like to place, just giveus a call and we will be glad to help you as we can. Remember the advertisers pay for the

print of this exclusive newspaper. Lets make 2015, a year to remember. Thank you all.

    Lower Costs from CHELCO

Good news for CHELCO members, you are going

to get a little break in your bill. CHELCO will re-duce members bills again this month by about$300,000, bringing the total saving to members in

November and December to about $600,000.

That effort by CHLCO members is paying off in aslightly lower bill. CHELCO's margins for 2014have been considerably more than budgeted. Thereasons are threefold. Members participation in the Beat the Peak program to reducedemand for power, combined with CHELCOs aggressive efforts to manage loads, re-

sulted in substantial saving on wholesale power costs.

Savings will be reflected in the distribution cost adjustment (DCA). The change will

be the same as in November. Without the reduction, the DCA would be a charge of$.004 (four mills) per kilowatt-hour (kWh). With the reduction, the DCA has beenchanged to a credit of $.002 (two mills) per kWh. This is a savings to the member of$.006 (six mills) per kWh. On a power bill of 1,000 kWh, the change in the DCA would

    be a $6 savings.

First time in History: Christmas Trees called

Holiday Tree by the White House of ObamaApparently the White House referred to Christmas Trees as Holiday Trees for thefirst time this year, which prompted CBS presenter, Ben Stein, to present this

piece which I would like to share with you.

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morn-ing Commentary. My confession:I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not

bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejewelled trees,Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's

    what they are, Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't thinkthey are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of likeit. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year.It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersec-tion near my beach house in Malibu. If people want a nativity scene, it's just as

fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians likegetting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God aresick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the conceptcame from, that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Con-

stitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

In light of recent events... terrorist attacks, school shootings, etc. I think it startedwhen Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few yearsago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Thensomeone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not

kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it

has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world'sgoing to hell.Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyber-space, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what

    God thinks of us.

    Are you laughing yet?

My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully, Ben Stein

Black Sheriff Says Eric Holder Is an

S.O.B Because of What He JustDid in Ferguson

The Sheriff of Milwaukee County, David Clarke, ablack man, recently called Eric Holder an S.O.B for

his irresponsible handling of the Ferguson situation.

He also had much to say about race-baiter Al

Sharpton in his address at a National Press Club

    conference.

Quickly telling the audience, Im not known forsugar coating things, he went on to describe how

some groups started to converge on the small town ofFerguson, Mo., like vultures on a roadside carcass.

He referred to specific groups like the New Black

Panther Party and people like Al Sharpton. He

pointed out that instead of those groups attempting

to restore calm in the community, they only served

to stoke the flames by pouring more gas on the fire

with their inflammatory and irresponsible rheto-

ric.Clarke continued his barrage of truth when he calledout two bit politicians like Jay Nixon and Claire

McCaskill, whom he said threw law enforcement un-der the bus for reasons of political gain.

But he didnt expect the same behavior from a man

who is supposed to be the top cop of the nation

Eric Holder.Clarkes thoughts on those race-baiting stories, whichwere self-serving and intended to stir the pot, werenothing short of epic.Wait a minuteMr. Attorney General, if you feltthose officers had violated your Fourth Amendment, and youre a federal prosecutor, and you didnt sayanything at the time? On behalf of everybody in the

United States, you could have done something if youfelt that. You could have made a complaintbecauseall of us kind of realize in law enforcement, right, wetestifywhat do they say in court? If you didnt writeit down, if you didnt report it, it didnt happen. He didnt stop there. The good sheriff continued with,And I thought, How could you do that? Who caresabout what happened to you? What about the peopleof Ferguson, Missouri right now? Who cares aboutyou, Eric Holder?Theyre only there to serve their own agendas and

couldnt care less that people are hurting and smallbusiness owners are in ruins because of their actions.

Man Learns Just How Much Weight You

Can Gain In A Month By Drinking 10

Cokes A DayA seemingly healthy and fit man decided to conduct an experiment to

prove the shocking effects that soda consumption has on the human

body, and the result was eye-opening.George Prior, 50, decided to drink 10 cans of Coke per day for 30 days

to see what would happen, and in the end, the healthy Los Angeles-

based man gained an astonishing amount of weight in a short amount of

    time.

I'm urging people to examine the

amount of sugar in their diets, Prior,

a married father of two, said. People

need to be aware of the real and pow-

erful damaging effects of sugar on

their health. The most dramatic changewas in weight: 23 pounds of gain over 30 days.

Prior also noted that he believes he was becoming addicted to sugar bythe end of his experiment.I also seemed to develop a craving for Cokes, or other sugars, duringthe time I was drinking Cokes, said Prior.

Prior says he stuck to his normal diet every day during the experiment

and simply added the 10 cans of coke each day.

I did it to get people thinking and talking about how much sugar theyeat and how unhealthy it is, revealed Prior. I would prefer not to do itagain. I don't like being this heavy. The actual drinking of the ten Cokes

got to be an irritating chore every day. There were a lot of visits to therestroom, a feeling of constant fullness, and a clutter of cans every-where. Kids shouldn't drink Cokes. But then kids shouldn't drink juices, either, and that's going to be a very hard sell to parents who believe that

juice is 'natural' or even 'organic.' It's sugar, and not only do kids notneed it, it's bad for them. I think there are a lot of people suffering health

problems like diabetes and heart disease, who aren't aware they couldhelp themselves by just stopping sugar.Within days of letting go of the Coke, Prior says he lost four or five

    pounds.

I'd like to see controls on the lobbying and spending of big corpora-

tions who sell sugar and don't want the government to tell people how

    bad it is, Prior added.

A man was holding asign that read ISIS here. Since the announcementlast week that the grand jury decided not to indictOfficer Darren Wilson in that shooting, ISIS hasramped up their efforts to recruit black men out ofFerguson. Therefore, it is a bit shocking that Be-yonce, one of the biggest stars in the music industry, would film a video that could be construed as both

propaganda for ISIS and for the violent rioting inFerguson. The singer, who appeared on this years Grammyswith the word FEMINIST behind her as she per-formed a sexual act with a chair wearing a scantilyclad outfit while her husband, Jay-Z watched, wascriticized by both Muslims and feminists on Twit-ter.Karesa Warner said on Twitter, Dear Beyonce: Doyou think youre going to get away with wearing aversion of Islamic head-dress, niqab, while promot-

Probably not inthe best interest for womens rights to make theniqab fashionable. Just sayin. In watching this video, given the volatile situationin Ferguson, including massive destruction of per-sonal property, and the Muslim terrorist group ISISactively recruiting blacks in Ferguson via social

Healthmark Health MattersTired of not sleeping well?Everyone knows that we must have sleep to rest our minds and bodies. However, not all

sleep is restful sleep.Obstructive sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeat-

edly stops and starts during sleep. According to researchers at Mayo Clinic, people withobstructive sleep apnea may not be aware that their sleep was interrupted. In fact, many peo-

ple with this type of sleep apnea think they slept well all night.Several types of sleep apnea exist, but the most common type is obstructive sleep apnea,

which occurs when the throat muscles intermittently relax and block the airway during sleep. The most noticeable sign of obstructive sleep apnea is snoring. Obstructive sleep apnea com-monly affects middle-aged and older adults and people who are overweight. Snoring usuallyis loudest when a person sleeps on their back, and it quiets when they turn on their side.

Many people don't think of snoring as a sign of something potentially serious, and noteveryone who snores has obstructive sleep apnea. However, be sure to talk to a physician ifyou or your partner is snoring loudly, especially snoring that is punctuated by periods ofsilence. They may also be snoring loud enough to disturb others. If they are experiencingshortness of breath that awakens them from sleep, has intermittent pauses in their breathingduring sleep or suffers from excessive daytime drowsiness, they might be suffering fromsleep apnea. Such disruptions impair a persons ability to get the desired deep, restful phasesof sleep, and will probably cause them to feel sleepy during waking hours.

There are things that can be done to reduce or eliminate obstructive sleep apnea. Sometreatments involve using a device to keep the airway open or using a mouthpiece to thrust the

jaw forward during sleep. The most common type is called continuous positive airway pres-sure, or CPAP (SEE-pap). With this treatment, the pressure of the air breathed is continuous, constant and somewhat greater than that of the surrounding air, which is just enough to keepthe upper airway passages open. This air pressure prevents obstructive sleep apnea and snor-ing.

For less serious cases of obstructive sleep apnea, a physician may simply recommend aperson lose weight if they are overweight, exercise regularly, drink alcohol moderately, if atall, quit smoking, use a nasal decongestant and not sleep on their back.

For more information regarding obstructive sleep apnea, contact Dr. Tom Roberts, P.A., atHealthmarks Walk-in Clinic, (850) 951-4556.

In the same week that President Obamaissued his administrative amnesty sparingmillions from deportation, the feds busteda criminal ring of illegal immigrants thatused stolen identities to defraud the U.S.government out of $7.2 million in taxrefunds. The mastermind of this sophisticatedoperation is a resourceful delinquent, whoruns a landscaping and cleaning business

called Las Tres Mujeres(the three women in Spanish). Her name is Linda Avilaand shes admitted in federal court that she filed more than 1,700 fraudulent taxreturns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) using stolen identities assigned to

migrant workersmostly from Mexicoliving in the U.S. illegally.Avila altered W-2 forms with white out to cover up the names, social securitynumbers and addresses then wrote in other names and addresses to create the fraudu-lent returns, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) announcement. Foreign de-

pendents were often added to increase the refund amounts. The IRS then cut refundchecks ranging from $4,000 to more than $7,000, according to the feds. Avila pro-vided the illegal aliens fake identification documents so they could cash the IRS re-fund checks. The illegal alien migrant workers kept a small fee and gave most of themoney to Avila. When federal agents searched Avilas home they seized about 17

boxes of fraudulent tax records, according to the DOJ document outlining the case.Templates for fraudulent W-2 forms and identification documents were also found onher computer. The records included copies of approximately 1,754 tax returns filed

between 2008 and 2014 for tax years 2004 through 2013. The total loss to the IRSbased on the fraudulent returns is approximately $7.2 million, federal auth. estimate.Back in July a federal grand jury in Norfolk Virginia indicted Avila on charges ofconspiracy to make false claims, mail fraud and false claims against the UnitedStates. On November 17, the same week Obama issued a long-anticipated adminis-trative amnesty, Avila finally pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy and mailfraud. She faces three decades in prison and remains free pending sentencing on Feb-ruary 17. The feds have not disclosed if her illegal immigrant partners in crime will

be charged. What we do know for sure is that a few days after Avila pleaded guilty.

    Four Men in Two Cities

    Killed in Acts of Islamic

    Jihad; Media, Obama,

and Holder SilentBrendan Tevlin was a 19-year old

from New Jersey who had just fin-

ished his freshman year at the Uni-

    versity of Richmond. Like many

kids his age, he played sports and

video games. He also liked to surf.

    Brendan also played the bagpipes

and was a Eucharistic minister at hischurch. But none of those things led

to his tragic death. What led to

Brendans death is that he was an

    American.

Ali Muhammad Brown, 29, wascharged with the murder of 19-yearold Brendan Tevlin on June 18th.Brown also confessed to killing two

people, Ahmed Said and DwoneAnderson-Young, in Seattle on June

    1. In addition, he was also chargedwith shooting another man, LeroyHenderson, in the Skyway area ofSeattle in April. All of the men were

killed with a 9 mm handgun.

    There is consistency in Browns

statement to police in both King

    County in Seattle, and Essex

County, N.J. He told authorities that

he was doing his small part as

vengeance for U.S. actions in the

    Middle East.

The media and Congress want to put

    more emphasis on the domestic

    abuse case surrounding Ray Rice

than acts of jihad in America with

men being killed simply for being

    an American. And Barack Obama

wants to deny the severity of ISIS

and, in fact, refuse to even recognize

that they are dangerous Islamic ter-

    rorists who kill innocent people.

Here in America, Isis is here.

People need to be made aware of it

taking place, just because the news

    isnt telling the whole truth.

    Muslim Convert Cuts Oklahoma

    Woman to Pieces BEFORE Beheading

Colleen Hufford didnt get a riot in her honor

after her horrific battle and beheading at thehands of Muslim convert Alton Nolen.Unfortunately, President Obama and his cadreexpressed no outrage at Huffords beheading,

but they had all in full voice about Fergusonevents, trying to ensure justice for gentlegiant Mike Brown.Autopsy Report: The recently releasedautopsy report indicates a tale of unbelievablygruesome savagery and a valiant struggle by 54year old grandmother fighting for her lifeagainst an attack in the name of Allah by Nolenwith an 8 inch long serrated knife. She lost herlife and her head in the battle. The battle occurred at her workplace. Whenone thinks of a beheading, one usually thinks ofthe act as one swift action, and not a series of

brutal nicks, cuts, and gashes to the neck areaBEFOREthe act is carried out. In Huffordscase, the truth is more horrifying than firstimagined. The initial report stated that Huffordwas attacked from behindby Nolen atVaughn Foods processing plant in Oklahoma

City. In other words, the initial findings wouldimply she was dead before she realized whatwas happening. But autopsy report clearly dis-counts the initial report. She did not die withher back turned.Evidence from the autopsy indicates Hufford

put up a fight before her death. The autopsydescribes multiple defensive injuries to bothhands and her right arm and other injuries toHuffords cheek, chest and upper arm.She was repeatedly stabbed by Nolen, sufferingserious defensive wounds. The report suggests

Nolen missed his target, slicing her on thechecks, arms, and the chest, before eventuallydecapitating her. At the time, thepress stressed

Nolens anger at being fired from his job, hiscriminal background, and vaguely mentioned in

passing that he was a recent Muslim convert.

Hi, my name is Auggie! I'm a two year old neutered male.Alaqua Animal Refuge chose me as the pet of the week.In preparation for the upcoming holiday, I wanted to share

my story, by reflecting on the things I am thankful for.I am thankful for the kindness of a lady, that rescued me

from the streets last December. She could have driven pastme, but instead, she opened her heart and gave me ahome.I am thankful for a place called Alaqua. Two months ago,

my beloved rescuer recognized that she could no longer care for me. Alaqua willhelp me find a new home.I am thankful for the diversity of my DNA. I am a mix of many breeds. Are you a

dachshund fan? I'm your guy! Long hair chihuahua? That's me! Does a TibetanSpaniel fit your fancy? I've got that covered, too! Wishing for a Great Dane? Okay,I can't help there, but, I am thankful that I recognize my limits!

I am thankful for the people at Alaqua. They gave me lots of love, as I settled intomy new surroundings. I'm housetrained and keep my kennel clean. They have beenhelping me learn to play well with others. I am doing better, but I'd do best as anonly pet, with a fenced yard.I am thankful for meeting new friends during my two months here. I've seen many

find a home of their own. We call it a "Gotcha Day"! It's not really a birthday, andit's more than an adoption day, it's the day you "gotcha" own family to love, and theday the families "gotcha"!I am thankful for the opportunity to have a second chance, and the possibility of a

new beginning. My hope is to find my own family to love. I am a devoted compan-ion, and I am a good lap warmer. I also love to walk on a leash, fast or slow, I 'm

easily adaptable. As we pause to consider our gratitude this year, I hope you will include the home-less pets of our community in your thoughts. In counting our blessings, rememberto support Alaqua Animal Refuge in your holiday gifting. I know from my experi-ence, they are doing a great job placing the pets, once considered unwanted, into

    loving homes.

Where are you Christmas?I love the holidaysso mucheven more so with a child, but wherehas Christmas gone? This year through tracking social media, watch-

ing the news, and listening to people in public, I am more disappointed

than ever in the holiday spirit. I used to be the person who had to

mail her Christmas cards two days before Thanksgiving so my card

would get there first!...the person who didnt let anyone help decorate

the tree because it had to look like it was ready for the cover of a

magazinethe person who searched all year for the perfect presents

to give and gave to so many people! You know who I am talking

about. I realized this year that all I do is add holiday stress to myself,

make those close to me walk on eggshells during this festive time

and spend so much time running that the holiday is over and I havent

enjoyed any of it. My son was my wake-up call.

We were walking by a mobile blood bank and he

said, Mom, can I give blood? I really want to

help other people this year for Christmas. He is

    12. I took him into the blood bank, right then and

there, and he watched while I donated. He had the

whole blood bank in a cheery mood by the time

we left. Even his Christmas list is sparsewith as

difficult as this year has been for our little family,he barely asked for anything. I am humbled and

blessed by my sons lesson. I realize that even if

the washing machine, the dishwasher, the pressure

washer, and your favorite ornaments break at one

time, you can still find reasons to be thankful. I

realized I would rather give a small donation to

charity than spend so much money on Christmas

cards and stamps. Christmas doesnt have to look

like a Norman Rockwell paintingeven to a per-

fectionist like me. So I took my sweet son out and

we bought the most crooked Christmas tree we could find. We felt like it needed a homefor the holidays too. Do something selfless this holiday season, it will make you count

your blessings over and over. And if your Christmas leans, lean with it! Trust me.
