Manufacturing and Engineering

Our quality industry proven Tru-Radius steel wall, vinyl liner

swimming pools, available in over 200 shapes and sizes, have set

the standard in the swimming pool industry. We at Kafko™ are

extremely proud of our innovative method of manufacturing and

advanced engineering capabilities. Press-Lock® systems represent

our industry’s state of the art method of manufacturing, replacing

the old welded systems. The patented Press-Lock® fastening

systems do not destroy the integrity of the galvanized coating.

Engineered Pool Wall System

Panels are made from 14 gauge steel with G235 (Z720) galvanized

coating. Both straight and curved wall panels have strategically

located holes at both ends ensuring positive and accurate

alignments. The ends of each panel are made with a recessed end,

making for a seamless panel connection. Straight panels

are formed using the Kafko™ TriBend method, which provides

much more strength than the industry standard double

bend panel.

Superior Strength of Steel

From skyscrapers to bridges, engineers turn to steel when maximum strength is called for.

The Tru-Radius steel panels which are used on our curved wall pools are designed to ensure that every Kafko™ pool is constructed to exacting specifications.

All panels come with a full 5" wall brace designed to make the Kafko™ straight steel panel the strongest design in the industry.

Unique Wall Brace System

The double “L” design makes our Kafko™ panels the strongest in

the industry. The galvanized steel braces are press locked in place,

not only to the back of each wall but also on the top and bottom,

ensuring that each panel retains its original pre-formed shape.

Adjustable “A” Frame

Kafko’s engineers have designed a unique heavy-duty

adjustable “A” frame that ensures perfect alignment.

This emphasis on strength assures that you receive a

structurally sound Kafko™ pool.

Optional Deck Support System

The Kafko™ single, double “A” or box deck support systems

were engineered to support the deck around the pool.

This system also adds additional rigidity to the pool walls.

Kafko™ vinyl pool liners are made using virgin vinyl material and

designed to withstand the rigors of the environment. Kafko™ vinyl

is manufactured with bleach resistant inks to help guard against

fading providing for a long lasting, new appearance. All Kafko™

vinyl is made with ultra-violet inhibitors to reduce damage caused

by sunlight. Special algae inhibitors are added to help back up

normal sanitizers. Our Premium vinyl liners are computer controlled

and manufactured in our own facilities under strict Quality Control

Procedures, ensuring an exact fitting Kafko™ True-Fit® vinyl liner.

Computer Controlled Vinyl Cutting

Kafko™ strives to stay on top of leading technologies in the swim-

ming pool industry. With our computer aided automatic cutting

machines, we have once again broken new ground. State-of-the-

Design Patented Wide Mouth Skimmer

Super-Skim® Patented Wide Mouth Through the Wall Mount Skimmer elimi-

nates any water contact with the Tru-Radius steel wall panel. This exclusive

Water-Lock® feature, not found on other pools, ensures long life and trouble

free operation of your pool. The skimmer is also sealed with gaskets on both

sides of the pool wall sealing out any possible seepage of soil or water into the

pool. A skimmer beauty cover has been added concealing the visible screw

heads around the opening of the Wide Mouth Skimmer. The Super-Skim®

Patented Coping

Super-Skim® Circulation components are molded out of durable, non-corrosive

ABS. They are designed for residential or commercial liner pool installations and

contain a Wide Mouth fully automatic skimmer, 2 easily adjustable return fit-

tings, and two VGB Compliant main drains if specified for your pool.

The Super-Skim® return fitting is devised for easy directional adjustment of the

water flow returning to the pool from the filter, improving water circulation.

Also added to the return fitting is a beauty cover that conceals the screw heads

and locks the directional eyeball into the desired position. Every Kafko™ pool

has a minimum of two return fittings.

The patented Snap-Lock® coping design ensures the liner is locked in the coping

For more information with regard to the ANSI/NSPI or ANSI/APSP standards or for other general

information contact:

Playing it smart makes sense.

IMPORTANT: A number of very important items that are essential for the safe use of your pool may not be visible in many of the photographs, either because of perspective or camera angle, or because they were removed for photographic purposes. These de-vices include:

• Safety ropes, which should remain in place at all times

• “No Diving” signs which are provided with all Kafko™ pools and which should be installed in accordance with Kafko™ instruc-tions, on the coping or liner, where they can be clearly visible

• An area sign which is provided with all Kafko™ pools and must be permanently and conspicuously affixed in the pool area where all users can see it

• Necessary means of exit and entry into the pool

• Fencing with a self latching gate, and other barriers that can assist parents in preventing unsupervised access to the pool by children

• Approved drain covers and other devices to protect against suction entrapment

• Minimum required inlets and returns to ensure proper water circulation

• Appropriate in-pool lighting if the pool will be used after dark

All of these devices should be installed in accordance with Kafko™ instructions, ANSI/NSPI or ANSI/APSP standards, as well as State and local statutes and codes.

Diving boards and slides require minimum depths and distances and must only be installed and used in strict compliance with the equipment manufacturer’s specifications and ANSI/NSPI or ANSI/APSP standards. If the pool is labelled by us as NON-DIVING, then diving equipment may not be installed and any such equipment must be removed before the pool is used.

Smart pool owners always think safety first. They take specific steps to ensure that their family, friends and guests are knowledgeable about the safe and sensible use of their pool. They also:

• Ensure that their pool is never used unless there is adequate supervision

• That their pool is kept in good repair and is not used when there is a missing or broken drain cover or other component

• Ensure that ALL CHILDREN using their pool are supervised constantly

• That anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs or stimu-lants that would impair their abilities or judgement does not use the pool

• That their pool is protected by appropriate barriers to un-supervised entry including fencing with self latching gates, covers, alarms, etc.

Make sure your builder supplies you with all of the safety informa-tion that accompanies your pool and installs the enclosed warning stickers and area sign where they can be clearly visible to all who use the pool.
