    Defining of route of pipe and branch

    It is easy to construct pipe if you know beginning and end fitting of piping. In our case, pipe has to be drawn from nozzle to nozzle. First of all we need go to Piping mode: Design Pipework. Allmenus will be changed to piping design. If this one is not active it means you are in Piping mode.After selecting this mode you will get window title as shown below.

    Go to menu Create Pipe

    In field Name enter pipe name without space. If you want to change click on button Specificationsand change to necessary type. Then click OK. You will get new dialog window Create branch . Inlist Head/Tail setting you need select Connect (other options will be explained in other samples).

    Click OK.

    Select Head from list. From list To you can select one of the several options. Full list is listed below: Nozzle, Tee, Olet, Elbow, Reducer, Flange, Multiway, Brach Head, Branch Tail, FirstMember, Last Member, Name. We will use Nozzle because we know beginning and end of pipe.They are Nozzles. Select Nozzle and click Apply and select head nozzle. Head nozzle is first nozzlefrom beginning (in direction of flow) of pipe. Tail nozzle is end nozzle.

    You can see yellow line started in head nozzle.

    After you need specify tail location (nozzle).

    Apply and click required nozzle.

    And you will see visually route of pipe.
