DEMU- SHED AGRA-CANTT 1. Shed-Organization :- DEMU-Shed, AGC started function in September 1986 as Diesel shed for shunting loco. It is located at Km 1344/5 about 1.25Kms away from AGC station toward Delhi end. The shed is headed by DME (DEMU) AGC. A captive store organization headed by SMM (D) is also attached to the shed. 2. Rolling – Stock holding :- At present four rakes of DEMU (1400HP) with configuration 2DPCs + 6TCs are being maintained at DEMU Shed, Agra for providing train service between AF-BKI, and AGC-ETW section. In addition to this, six de-rated inferior WDM-2 diesel locomotives are being maintained and utilized for shunting services at AGC, JAB, BAAD and MTJ-Yards in Agra- division. 4. Links maintained by DEMU Car Shed, Agra

One DEMU rake (08 - Coach) works in link of train no. 71901 to 71906 in IDH-BTE-BKI sections and another two DEMU rake (08 - Coach) works in link of train no. 71907-08 in IDH-BKI section and 71909-10 in AGC-ETW-MNQ-AGC sections respectively.

5. Fuelling Installation

M/s HPC have provided the fuelling installation in the shed on “NO CHARGE BASIS”. Three 70 Klts. capacity cylindrical tanks located horizontally above the ground are installed. Four dispensing points (three overhead and one side filling) and six decanting points have been provided. One cylindrical tank of capacity 20 Klts. has been installed by M/s IOC to cater

to the requirement of lubricating oil..

5. Staff – Strength :-

Position regarding sanction strength and man-on-roll is appended below .

Beside to DEMU-Maintenance, the above staff is also utilized in maintenance and operation of 140 – Ton ART crane and fueling points at AGC and IDH.
