TRANSCRIPT
Biosciences are about the processes and systems that create, sustain and threaten life. It is one of the fastest developing branches of science today, with world issues such as BSE, GM food and human gene research constantly in the headlines.
Griffith College, through its association with Griffith University, teach a well-designed and flexible program which is primarily a pathway to Griffith, well-matched to the syllabus and clearly informed by industry and research.
Students enrolled in this program will attend classes delivered by Griffith College on both Griffith University’s Mt Gravatt and Nathan campuses.

Students must successfully complete all 8 subjects in the Diploma and meet relevant entry criteria to articulate to the Griffith University Bachelor degree. Diagram is based on a 3 year Bachelor degree, studied full-time. A 4 year program will require an additional 2 semesters/1 year of full-time study. Students commencing study in Griffith College semesters 1 or 2, will be eligible for entry to 2nd year Griffith for GU semester 1 2016 (based on full-time study).
Entry requirements for Australian/New Zealand studentsCompletion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent.
Successful study within different science pathways assumes a minimum level of knowledge in certain subject areas (i.e. ‘assumed knowledge’); knowledge in other subject areas may also prove helpful (i.e. ‘recommended study’). The table below provides guidance for Diploma of Biosciences pathways. The College offers
a range of Bridging Subjects designed to satisfy assumed and recommended study areas. Students enrolled in the Diploma can undertake Bridging Subjects as part of their Diploma studies and still complete their award in just one year. For more information, please visit: website to go here
