Dear Andy,Hello from not-so-sunny Cornwall! I have finally been finding have finally found an internet cafe and thought I’d write to you to escape from the weather. It’s rained for days – it hasn’t been stopping once. As you can probably imagine, this isn’t much fun if you’re camping; I haven’t been sleeping very well and I ache all over. Anyway, enough of my moaning. One good thing is that the kids haven’t really noticed the weather – they’re having a great time. They’ve played on the beach every day and have made lots of new friends. The dog doesn’t seem to mind too much either, just as long as he gets his walks – in the pouring rain! We have done a few things to escape from the weather though; we’ve already been visiting the local museum and we’ve been doing lots of shopping and eating lots of cream teas – in fact, I think when we get home, I need to go on a diet. Today we’re going to brave the weather and try doing a coastal walk. Richard is also very keen on having surfing lessons – at least the rain won’t matter if we’re in the sea!Anyway, must go – I’ve written emails all morning and I think everyone has got fed up with wait-ing for me. Let’s catch up when we get back; I’d love to hear all your news.

Love, Joanna xxx
