EROS, THE BEGINNING

Sans Tabù is a brand devoted to Home, bedding, table, accessories, loungewear, wallpaper, and much, much more.Founded in 2013 around an unusual concept, Sans Tabù acclaims sensuality and Eros through interaction with contemporary art. The project became reality thanks to the visionary creativity of international artists, illustrators, designers and architects, with the complicity and expertise of refined and skilled Italian artisans, who have transferred artworks and colors upon silk, cashmere, wool, cotton with an eye keen on quality and innovation.

Endowed with a strong personality and offering outstanding products, Sans Tabù is a niche brand that goes beyond trends, addressed to worldly and demanding customers, who find the elegant and sophisticated sensuality of color and art in its limited editions.

THE SOUL

Luisa Bezzi is the founder of Sans Tabù, its creative and operational driving force since 2013. Born in Rome, she began her career as a designer and lived in the US for ten years working for the visionary brand Esprit, a job that took her constantly around the world for inspiration and sourcing.

Quite a concrete background, quickly matching ideas with facts and options, the way she likes it. Upon her return to Europe, Luisa continued designing for Armani, Dolce&Gabbana, Malo, Frette, Cerruti, Piazza Sempione and became Brand Manager for Tod’s and MCQ of Alexander McQueen.

The creation of Sans Tabù represented the opportunity to bring together the many facets of her professional life with her love for visuals, arts and her knowledge of the most refined craftsmanship, the art of ‘making things’, the pleasure of working and partnering alongside true talents and ultimately producing unordinary pieces.

CUSTOMIZATION

Sans Tabù conceived the “Sans Tabù Bespoke” to satisfy the increasing desire for customized and made-to-measure items; a 360° “turnkey” service for Hotels and Spas, private homes and luxury yachts thanks to a collaboration with designers, interior decorators, and architects.

Each visual project is original and exclusive so as to mirror the aesthetic and cultural expression of the ship or home owner. In partnership with trusted art advisors and relying on the client’s specific demands, Sans Tabù selects the artist that is most suitable to be entrusted with the conception of a dedicated décor theme, then translates the artwork on multiple supports, produces and delivers the final items: walls, carpets, beds, sofas, bathroom towels and bathrobes, ceramics, chinaware, and so on.

THE WALLY PROJECT

Wally Yacht selects the “Décor d’Artiste” by Sans Tabù to customize the styling of its yachts.

Upon commission by Wally, Sans Tabù chose Architect Marco Zanuso Jr. for the customization of the 80 wallypower, the latest unit of the Wallypower line, to be displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016, the world’s most important super yacht window. An exclusive an innovative partnership blending different backgrounds of expertise: yacht design, applied art and Made-in-Italy craftsmanship.A second Wally yacht project is in the pipeline, a real high tech luxury racing sailing Yacht.

YET TO COME

Ed.4 OCEAN by Marco Zanuso Jr: drawing inspiration from his furniture and object collection entitled “Policromi”, a textile collection has been created for Wally Yacht, along with a capsule of home accessories that will be distributed through shops and online design retailers.

Ed.5 FLORA by Michel Jarvis: Textile artist Michelle Jarvis embroidered bed and table linen Collection, a unique blend of industrial and handcrafted concepts is an example of the highest Italian knowhow. This exceptional artisanal project was selected for the provocative exhibition ‘The iconography of genitals in art and history ‘ curated by Massimo Kaufmann in Milan, June 2016.

Ed.6 STORYBOARD: Bed linens, home accessories, wallpapers, and other items, all featuring the sensual and graphic handwriting of one of the most dynamic milanese design duo.

Ed.7 SKETCHBOOK: the words and sketches by an emerging and talented singer song writer will be the canvas of a dedicated and very personal capsule collection.

PRESS Thanks to the uniqueness and new flair of its products and with the support of its PR office, the brand is much appreciated by dedicated press, such as Vogue, Glamour, Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia and in the blogscape... SPOTLIGHT MUDEC, Museo delle culture di Milano.Sans Tabù foulards and blankets were selected for the capsule collection curated by design and fashion critic Cristina Morozzi for the museum Design Store, based on the unexpected original objects she has selected for her latest book Terrific Fashion edited by Sole 24Ore Cultura, where she showcases Sans Tabù’s first edition: Youkali.

Exclusive Edition launchings partnering with renowed design portals such as Artemest, Wallpaper, Just99, Silvera, luisaviaroma, Yoox are in progress for the season 2016-2017, offering an eclectic selection of products and aesthetics on the wake of Sans Tabù spirit.
