Noted Lecturer Sees Better World After War-Time

Dr. Carrol] Blbley. nationally- known author and lecturer, ap­ peared as guest speaker at Torrance Woman's Club annual Husband's Night dinner pro- gram last night. Presented by Mrs. A. H. Sllllgo, program chairman, he discussed "What Will the New Order Bring?" waiving all reference to the war except In Ite results upon post­ war conditions in the world.

In a brief resume of current trends In education, science, re­ search and music, he stressed America's position in art en­ couraging light. He declared television, one of the hopes of a better world, would assume a major role in the economic post-war development.

Dr. Sibley listed 50 new voca­ tions that would amplify the field of education and offer great opportunities to the com ing generation. The program was amplified by an enjoyable musical program presented by Alfred Leon, Los Angeles barl tone, accompanied by Ann Hal ley, concert pianist.
