Project Instructions

Start-off Project• 1: Copy a design from one of the books by making a small line drawing. This is to get you

accustomed to the Northwestern motif.

Final Project• 1: Choose your animal.• 2: Choose the shape you will design your animal inside of.

• 3: Draw the simple outline of the animal inside the shape.– The animal should be drawn simplistically.– Get this design from the Animal Design List.

• 4: Add the decorative patterns to the animal and space around the animal.– You may only use the shapes provided in the Shape List.

• 5: Add the colors: bluish-green, yellow, red, white, black.
