•Grew up on Long Island, New York with her parents and sibling: 2 brothers and 1 sister.

The FBI •Her Father was a Police Officer•When she was younger she wanted to be a police Officer or work for the FBI•Realized it was too DaNgErOus!

Writing & Books• Her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Cooper told her she was a true writer! Her teacher encouraged her to write by giving her extra writing assignments – Doreen loved it!

•She also loved the library & spent most of her free time there reading books.

College & Career• She went to College at Penn State & St. John’s University of Law

• After college she began practicing Law in downtown Manhattan. She also continued to write…..
