Notes from Father Joseph -
Fish Fry: The best fish fry in all of Wiscon-
sin returns this Friday, February 5
th
. Be-
cause of the drive-thru take-out system, we
continue to safely deliver a tasty meal to
everyone who comes. Meals will be avail-
able from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at St. Michael in Dane.
Again, thank you to everyone who helps make our Fish
Fries a
success.
First Confessions: Please join me in praying for our
young people making their first Confessions next
Saturday morning. We hope they have a great experience
of God’s merciful love. What a great reminder of the
great gift we have been given in Confession!
Catholic Schools Week: This weekend we kick off
Catholic Schools Week, the annual celebration of
Catholic education in the United States. For over 140
years Blessed Trinity Catholic School has been educating
and forming the hearts and minds of young people in our
community. Catholic education has always been at the
heart of the Catholic mission. Catholic education, and the
students who are the product of it, have been called the
“greatest work of the Church”.
Annual Catholic Appeal: As a reminder, this yearly
fundraiser supports the Diocese of Madison. The diocese
provides many supportive services to our parish. In the
past, this parish has been very generous toward the
Annual Catholic Appeal, so I thank you for your continued
support. More information will be coming the next two
weekends.
Ash Wednesday: While not a holy day of obligation,
many individuals like to start off the season of Lent by
attending Ash Wednesday Mass. This year we will have
Mass at 8:00 AM in Dane and 6:30 PM in Lodi.
Confessions will be available from 5:30 PM until 6:15
PM in Lodi.
Lent: On Fridays during Lent we will not be having
Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions, but will instead
have Stations of the Cross with the students. Stations
will begin at 1:45 PM in Dane. We will not be having a
Communal Penance Service for Lent, but the parish will
have Adoration each Wednesday morning from 6:45 AM
until 7:45 AM with Confessions available.
God Bless,
Father Joe

Frassati Fest
Sunday February 7th, 11:30am-3:00pm
Frassati Fest will look a lot different this year but we
are hopeful and plan to provide a fruitful, faith filled
and fun event for high school teens. We will be joining
Divine Mercy Parish in Sauk City and St. John and St
Luke from Plain and Spring Green to make this a
spectacular day with youth from around the area! We
will be going to St. Aloysius in Sauk City. There will be a
minimal (if any) charge for the event!. We will have
pre-recorded talks, testimonies, and games as we
share our witness and love of Christ to each other!.
More details and registration coming soon. Contact
Geno Finn for more information at [email protected]
or 592-5711 ext 4.
Old Blessed Palms Being Collected
We are again collecting old blessed palms at both
churches through the month of February. The palms
will be burned in the Easter fire. Please place your old
palms in the basket provided in the entrance of either
church. Note, please, it is very helpful to place the
palms in the basket free of staples, paper clips, stick
pins rubber bands and plastic bags if possible. All
those things need to be removed before burning.

Diocese of Madison
Annual Catholic Appeal 2021
“The Kingdom of God is at Hand”
The theme for the 2021 Annual Catholic
Appeal of the Diocese of Madison is “The
Kingdom of God is at Hand.” We ask that God
guide us, and give us the ability to put our faith in Him to
allow us the capacity to love and care for those in our
parishes, our diocese and the Church throughout the
world. We ask that His grace make us even more
generous in supporting those needs.
Each pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal supports
diocesan ministries, education and services and assures
a strong future for the Diocese of Madison and the
people that it serves.
This year each of us is asked to consider making a
pledge, payable over six months. Your gift will help
enable the diocese to reach its goal and provide to the
ministries supported by the appeal.
If you received your pledge form in the mail, please
complete it and mail it back. Thank you for your prayerful
consideration and generous response.
Prayer of the Faithful
May we all join together, to show our support of this
year’s Annual Catholic Appeal to demonstrate the
Kingdom of God has taken root in all of our hearts by
sharing the Good News of Jesus with everyone in the
Diocese of Madison and giving generously to support
its ministries and initiatives…We pray to the Lord.
