Religious Education Notes
Parents, mark your calendar now to attend one of the
parish RE Registration Nights this upcoming August:
Monday, August 27 OR Wednesday, August 29, 7:00 -
8:15 pm at Saint Patrick Church, Lodi. Classes will
again be offered Sunday Mornings, 9:45-11:00 am
(during the 10:00 am Mass) for preschool three year
olds thru kindergarten, Wednesday Afternoons, 3:15 -
4:30 pm for grades 1 - 5; Wednesday Evenings, 6:15 -
7:30 pm for grades 6 - 8, with Confirmation Prep ses-
sions Wednesday evenings, 7:30 - 8:45 pm. A com-
plete calendar will be published and provided along
with registration materials, mailed to all parish house-
holds with children age 3 thru grade 8 by the beginning
of August.
Summer Sacrament Preparation Classes
Baptized children entering grades 3 - 6 this fall who
have not yet received the sacrament of Penance and/
or Holy Eucharist are invited to participate in this sum-
mer's "catch-up" preparation classes to be held at
Saint Patrick Church, Lodi. July will be devoted to pre-
paring for the sacrament of Penance and Reconcilia-
tion (confession) with class dates: July 10, 13, 18, 23,
27, 30, 31 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. The month of August
will be centered on preparing for the sacrament of Holy
Eucharist with sessions again from 2:00 - 3:00 pm on
August 7, 8, 13, 22, 28 and 29th. The celebration of
the actual sacraments will be determined individually
following each preparation period. Questions may be
directed to 592-5711 x. 3.

will sponsor their second Bake Sale of the
Summer next weekend - July 7 & 8. All ladies
of he parish are encouraged to contribute

Children’s Game Prizes The Festival Prize Committee
is looking for Children’s prizes for this years’ event. If
you have the time and would like to donate prizes for
this year's Festival, you can drop them off with Mary in
the Parish Office. The Prize Committee is open to ideas
as far as gifts for ages 2 - 12, both boys and girls.
Small, medium and large prizes are needed this year.

Donations for Parish Festival Silent Auction and
Small Chance Drawing
Donations of unique one-of-a-kind items or a themed
box, basket, bin, or bucket of goodies for our End of
Summer Parish Festival Silent Auction and Small
Chance Drawing August 26 are requested. The creativ-
ity of our parishioners always shines with this event so,
please, have some fun and consider participating
whether donating one item, a complete themed pack-
age or 2-3 items toward a particular theme! Sugges-
tions for themed packages are found on our parish bul-
letin boards. Please let us know by August 1 what you
plan to donate so we have ample time to prepare our
auction catalog and begin to sell small chances prior to
the actual festival. All items for the silent auction and
small chance drawing are to be brought to the parish
office by Tuesday, August 21. To be part of the auction
team to assist in preparing for this event, please con-
tact Cindy in the parish office. Your participation is
much appreciated!
Apostolate Day at the Dells
The annual Day at the Dells sponsored by the Diocese
of Madison Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities is
Friday August24, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Put on for
Catholics with disabilities, the elderly, and their family
and friends, the day begins with an outdoor Mass, fol-
lowed by a provided sack lunch and the enjoyable
Tommy Bartlett Water Show. There is no cost for this
event thanks to the generosity of donors to the Aposto-
late. Any person needing assistance with medications
or using the bathrooms should be accompanied by an
assistant or caregiver to assure comfort and safety. To
register and reserve your seats on a bus, call 608-821-
3050. Pick-up points for the bus transportation will be
provided at various places throughout the diocese.
