SVdPatourParishisanactivecommunityministrywitha42yearservicehistory.InFY2017ourreliefactivitiesserved170families,made639homevisits,delivered20,000#offood(valuedat$61,500),andprovided$49,000indirectGinancialaid.95%ofourincomesupportsthepoorandtherestpaysforutilitiesandsupplies.Thepoorarealwayswithus.ThePrincipleofPreferentialProtectionforthePoorisoneoftheFoundationalPrinciplesuponwhichCatholicSocialTeachingrests.��

�� TheParishownedpropertywhichhousedtheJoeMcVaySVdPFoodPantry(1992�2018)wassoldonSeptember10,2017.ThenewownershadgenerouslyallowedthepantrytooperateuntilMarch2018whenthePantrytemporarilymovedtotherearbasementoftheStJohnPaulIIretreathouse(formerlyJeremiah).�

�� Atthecurrentlocation,difGiculttruckdelivery,safe

drivewayaccess,andprohibitivestairaccesstothebasementfornon�athleticmembersandourclientsmakethislocationnon�sustainable.�

�� UponsaleoftheMcVayPantryproperty,theParishmanagementofferedabuildingsiteand$50,000towardsanewpantry.�

�� Anewgradelevelbuildingwithdeliveryaccessis

membersandplanssubmittedtoKeyport.GeneralContractorsandmodularbuilderswereinterviewedforconceptsandcost.Keyportjustapprovedtheuseanddesign.Constructiondrawingsareinpreparation.Bidswillbesolicitedandevaluated.Thetotalprojectisestimatedat$95,000.�
