Whenever necessary, these Standard Specifications shall be supplemented by special provisions. This Order supersedes Department Order No. 24, Series of 2005 and shall take effect immediately. SUBJECT: DPWH Standard Specifications for PublicWorks and Highways, Volume II,Highways, Bridges and Airports, 2012Edition

It is hereby directed that henceforth, the DPWH Standard Specifications for PublicWorks and Highways, Volume II - Highways, Bridges and Airports, 2012 Edition, which wasreleased in August 2013 shall be adopted in the implementation of all infrastructure projects ofsaid categories, except for projects which have already been advertised for bids and for whichspecifications other than the above standards have been adopted. Whenever necessary, theseStandard Specifications shall be supplemented by special provisions.

This Order supersedes Department Order No. 24, Series of 2005 and shall take effectimmediately.
