In 2003, Huawei (51% shareholder ) and 3Com setup JV

Huawei3Com, which was dedicated to low-end datacomm products.

In 2006, 3Com bought all Huawei’s shares of JV. Thus Huawei3Com

became ’s wholly owned subsidiary company and was renamed

to later on.

In 2009, 3Com was acquired by . Now, Huawei has no business

relations with H3C (only use this name in China market now).
