ApplicationsDrum heaters and container heaters provide heat to the contents of industrial packaging such as cans, canisters, hobbocks, drums, and IBC containers. Depending on the application, heat is supplied in order to: · temper the contents so that they may be kept at an optimal processing temperature; · reduce the viscosity of a fl uid so that it may be pumped or emptied more easily; · hinder crystallisation or fl ocking of fl uids; · melt lubricants.

Gas bottle heaters provide heat to gases in metal gas bottles. Depending on the application, heat is supplied in order to: · increase the pressure of the gas or to keep contents at a constant pressure as they are reduced; · achieve improved emptying of remaining contents of gas bottles in case of valuable gases; · keep gas bottles and fi ttings free of ice.

Our heating systems for industrial packaging consist of fl exible heating mats that are placed directly around the containers to be heated and then attached to them. Therefore, references such as heating jackets, heating sheaths, heating jackets, heating belts, and heating rings are all common. These heating systems vary according to: · the dimensions, shape, and volume of the containers to be heated; · the setup and materials depending on the heating power and maximum temperature involved; · the area of application (please ask for special variations designed for explosion-protected areas).

Advantages1. Light, compact, low-cost: A heating mat only weighs a few kilograms, and may be easily rolled up for storage when it is not needed. The investment is signifi cantly lower

compared to a metal heating system or a heating chamber.

2. Practical and space-saving: With a fl exible heating mat, you can heat your containers directly wherever they are set up, since only a little space is required. The containers can be transported with heating mats mounted on them without any additional work.

3. Simple to use: Every heating mat is completely equipped with mounting fi xtures and all of the required components, such as a cable, plug, thermostat, etc. for secure and reliable operation. With just a few simple actions, the heating mat is attached to the container, and can be removed again just as quickly.

4. Flexibility and a perfect fi t: The fl exible heating mats form to the shape of the container to be heated. This also enables them to heat oval, fl attened, or convex containers. A fl exible heating mat keeps you on the safe side if the dimensions of your containers fl uctuate, since the fasteners can be adjusted at any time.

5. Effi ciency: Direct contact between the heating mat and the container without any insulating layer of air creates a more effective and consistent heat transfer process through the wall to the contents to be heated. Integrated insulation (except for the WODS series) prevents unnecessary loss of heat to the surrounding environment and protects against high-contact temperatures.

6. Fast delivery: All heating mats are normally in stock (right to prior sales reserved). We are normally able to deliver special sizes within 2-3 weeks.

Special sizes and special power ratings: Do you need to heat a specially sized drum or another container? No problem. We can produce heating mats in any special size, even just 1 unit. Send us the request form provided for this on page 21 and we‘ll send you a non-binding offer. The same applies to special power ratings. All of our heating mats can easily be adjusted to 115 VAC or other special power ratings.

Safety and qualityAll of our heating mats correspond to applicable low-voltage and EMC guidelines, and they also feature the CE symbol. A detailed user guide is included.Our heating mats are made by hand from high-quality materials and components. Robust manufacturing techniques ensure a long product life. All products are retested prior to shipping. We are certifi ed according to ISO 9001:2008.

WFXX1004 FLORETT SENSOR FOR MEASURING THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MEDIUMApplicationThe fl oret sensor is suitable for all types and makes of 220 l drums. The Pt100 sensor in the tip of the sensor easily connects to the WRW-200 controller-limiter combination to provide point-precise temperature measurement. The Pt100 sensor (2 conductors) switches the drum heater off after reaching the desired medium temperature and protects the medium against overheating and thermal damage.
