e-Con 2012 R2 - DetailsWith R2, we’ll strengthen our position as a cloud offering with more use of web services, a Windows Azure-based

engine and a new license offering for Software as a Service (SaaS)—fixed price per user per month!

e-Con Cloud Readiness

Microsoft no longer supports XML-based integration for Microsoft Office 2010; as a result, e-Con cannot support an XML-based integration. The e-Con team is carefully

redesigning a robust alternative that will be available for R2.

New Office Integration

e-Con 2012 R2 - DetailsPredefined UI Templates that include grouping, tabs,

message boards, and more will become available in R2. e-Con User Interface Templates

e-Con 2012 R2 will offer a fully redesigned e-Con Portal (also known as the e-Con Suite). The new design will

include a new user experience, cross-browser compatibility, and easier setup.

e-Con Portal

e-Con 2012 R2 - DetailsR2 will introduce wizards for queries and all core library

functions. The formula wizard will also be further enhanced to set logic with more then 2 dependencies.

We will also add new role-based capabilities for the e-Con studio so that users view and use only the information that’s relevant for their role—a streamlined experience

that will save valuable time and increase user satisfaction.

All functionality is subject to change; we will keep you informed as planning and development proceed for e-Con 2012 R2.
