When the play opened, the fool made everyone laugh. The crowd loved the fool! Kate made the fool the star of the show!

Gina really wanted a dog. Her mom said Gina was too busy to take care of a dog. One morning, Gina’s neighbor asked her to walk her dog for the day. Gina was very excited to be a dog walker. She left her volleyball game to walk the dog. Then Gina missed her favorite TV show to walk the dog. That evening, she could not find the dog’s leash. This made Gina late for her piano lesson. By the end of the day, Gina realized her mom was right. She was too busy to have a dog. She was too busy to be a dog walker!

Ouch! Casey twisted his ankle. Casey had trained for the community walk, but now he would not be part of the big day. Casey’s mom knew he was disappointed, and she wanted to help. Since Casey was a good artist, she asked Casey to make a colorful banner. Then she convinced Casey to go to the walk. They sat on chairs near the finish line and held up the banner. When the tired walkers finished, they saw the banner. It said “You did it!” Casey could tell that his banner made the walkers feel proud. And Casey was proud to be part of the big day!

Kenneth stared at the broken window in surprised silence. How had that happened! He waited for someone to come out of the house to see what had happened, but no one did.
