This integrated ATPL(A) course takes aspiring pilots with little or no experience through theoretical knowledge training, single and multi-engine piston aircraft flying, Performance Based Navigation (PBN), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Upset Prevention and Recovery (UPRT) to graduate with a frozen ATPL(A) license – ready for a career on the flight deck!

On successful completion of the course you will graduate with an EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) Commercial Pilot License CPL(A) with Instrument Rating (IR) which allows you to start your pilot career on commercial passenger or cargo aircraft – the big jets. An EASA license is accepted in all EASA member states and widely around the globe.

Entry CriteriaTo be accepted onto our ATPL course you must meet the following entry criteria:

Age and heightBe at least 17 to submit an application. Be at least 18 to commence training. Minimum height 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm). Maximum height 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm).

Education and English language5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, or International equivalent, for example in Portugal: Secondary School (year 12) completion certificate; including Mathematics, Physics and English language.

Be fluent in English (verbal and written). Non-native English speakers must achieve level 5.5 individual and overall in IELTS or equivalent ICAO level 4 prior to start of training.

MedicalBe able to obtain:

EASA Class 1 Medical without restrictions for EASA license.

VisasHave the unrestricted right to live, study and work in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

Background and selectionProduce a clean Criminal Record Check (CRC) basic disclosure certificate before training can commence.
