he older we get, the faster time does seem to fly. Working in the auction businesshas a way of speeding things up, also. As I write, we have a crew of folks in Austin,Texas picking up a collection for the Labor Day Americana auction; and, soon, wewill be cataloging and photographing collections for our fall Gentleman's Auction,annual Thanksgiving Americana auction and a December Fine Jewelry sale - so, it is hard to look outside and think Spring, when we have fall and winter on our (work) minds.

If it takes a village to raise a child, it certainly takes a village to run an auctionhouse. In addition to the bevy of professionals who are old hat to Garth's clientele,we have expanded in recent months with the addition of the folks pictured here.They are buzzing about, sourcing great merchandise for the rest of the year; and,enthusiastically getting to know all of you.
