child between Nov 6 and Nov 10. Please
make sure that your items are not expired.

General Absences If your child will be absent on any day he or she is normal-ly scheduled to attend, please email or call your child’s EDS site no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the absence and let us know. Student Forms If you did not register online, please return your child's emergency contact form with your tuition payment. For online registrants, we already have your form. Also, if you received a health appraisal in the mail, it is now due. Please return it ASAP. If you did not receive a
health appraisal, your child does not need one at this time.

Program Hours
Before School Programs begin at 7:00 AM and run until the beginning of the school day.
After School Programs begin at the conclusion of the school day and run until 6:00 PM
Hours for the K-Plus Programs and Pre-K Academy are specific to each district and can be found on each district’s page on the EDS web-site.

Our voice mail answers 24 hours a day. If we do not receive notice that your child will be absent on an afternoon that he or she is scheduled to attend, you will be charged a $10 no call fee. Please program your cell phone with your child's EDS location phone number listed here so you will always have it with you. Please also program our administrative of-fice phone (412 221-1980) so that you may reach us there between 9 AM and 5 PM in case of questions. Thank you! We cannot allow children to go anywhere but to the program if they are scheduled to be with us and we have not been notified by a parent or authorized guardian. We must enforce this policy for the safety of all the children.

Thursday, November 9 - USC Township Library visits EDS Afterschool at Eisenhower Monday, November 13 - USC Township Library visits EDS K-Plus at Eisenhower Thursday, November 16 - USC Township Library visits EDS Afterschool at Streams Monday, November 20 - USC Township Library visits EDS K-Plus at Eisenhower Wednesday, November 22 - Early Dismissal - The after school program will be in session from the time of dismissal until 6:00 PM. We will not have AM or PM K-Plus. The district will only have AM Kindergarten. All district children will be transported home at the time of the early dismissal (11:30 AM for elem. and 11:55 AM for Boyce) The district will be serving lunch on this day. See below for additional information. Thursday, November 23 - Friday, November 24 - Thanksgiving Recess. No School, No EDS.

USC In-Service Day - November 7 - Altimate Air Families must register in advance for any in-service day you would like to attend. You will receive an email prior to the in-service day or you may click here to register now. (If you register for the day, you will be re-quired to pay for the day, regardless of whether you attend the day.)
Day: Tuesday, November 7 (Registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 31)
Time: We are open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Please be at Eisenhower Elementary by 10:15
AM. We will return about 3:00 PM.
Place: Eisenhower Elementary School. Parents from Baker, Boyce and Streams must
drop-off and pick-up from Eisenhower Elementary.
Cost: There is a $42 tuition charge per child for the full-day in-service day. An additional charge of $19 per child will appear on
your statement to cover the cost of the field trip and transportation. All children who attend EDS on this day will be going on the
field trip.
Dress: Comfortable clothing and blue EDS Field Trip T-shirt. (if your child does not have one yet, we will give him one, and a
$7.50 T-shirt charge will appear on your statement)
Bring: Please pack your child's lunch in a plastic bag (Ziploc or grocery bag). If your child attends a different school and needs
medication for the in-service day, please bring it with you. Please print and sign the waiver for the field trip. Please give the
waiver to the EDS staff on the day of the trip.
USC Early Dismissal - Wednesday, November 22
On Wednesday, November 22 the district will have a district-wide early dismissal. The elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 AM. Boyce Middle School will dismiss at 11:55 AM. EDS will begin the after school program at the time of your child's school dis-missal and will not hold AM or PM K-Plus. The district will only hold AM kindergarten on this day and will dismiss the AM kindergarten children at 11:30 AM. If your AM kin-dergarten child normally attends the afterschool program on Wednesdays, he may stay with us from the time of dismissal until 6:00 PM. If your child does not normally attend the after school program on Wednesdays and you need care on this day after the time of dismissal, please click here to email us or call our administrative office at (412) 221-1980.
