Its portfolio includes 3 small Hydro Power Plants: HPP Konjarka 236, HPP Eshterec 372 and HPP Konjarka 235.

In the scope of repair activities ELTE Engineering L.L.C. Skopje, is working on repairs of

installations in current Thermal Power Plants in Macedonia, existing hydropower plants and existing petrochemical facilities, as well as on repairs and maintenance of steam boilers for

Mining and Energy Combine Bitola

Plant whose main activity is the production of electricity and coal is the largest in the Macedonian power system is comprised of two production units: Mine "Suvodol" and the Thermal unit.

Production at the plant began in 1980, with mining tailings from the first BTS system (excavator, track, Stacker), and the

first kilowatt-hours of electricity were obtained in 1982 when the first of the three blocks in the plant began with work.

TPP "Bitola" provides over 72 per cent share in the total production of electricity in the domestic power system.

With the opening of a new coal mine Brod - Gneotino located in Pelagonija pool, it is estimated that the life of the plant will be extended for at least 15 years

that discovery of new sources, production and usage remain continuous.

Strategically it can be concluded that the future of the energy sector in Macedonia is in the already established and potential coal reserves. The total coal reserves along with potential Pelagonija basin are estimated at 2.5 billion tons.

Macedonian coal is lignite with relatively low calorific value and high moisture content and ash. Coal in RM is currently

being exploited in two types of mines. The first type mines that are within the power plants for electricity production (Suvodol, Oslomej), and the second type mines that meet the needs of industry and consumers of coal as a fuel.

Base energy power system of the state is based on coal potential Kicevo and Pelagonija pool and its established coal

mines: SPOT Brod-Gneotino, Zivojno, Oslomej, Popovjani and Stragomishte, which enabled the opening of both our major coal quarries – PK Oslomej and PK Suvodol

Natural conditions and established reserves of coal deposits, as well as the technical possibilities of the energy system is a

kind of guarantee that in the future will continue the continued operation of thermal power plants. Of the identified 664 million tons of geological reserves of coal in the RM, it is estimated that 38% can be exploited with Surface Mining, and the

rest with pit-underground technology. Pit-underground coal mining in our region has not yet been represented.

It is expected that in the future coal will have a large application in industry, central heating and in wide range of consumers. Our country is energy dependent on its research, production and use.

Environmental pollution when using lignitite is their weak side, but setting strict environmental criteria and maximum care to protect labor and the environment are our priorities

System for distribution of natural gas Natural gas distribution system in the Republic of Macedonia is a part of Russian transit gas pipeline passing through Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria, and is intended to Turkey, Greece, Serbia and Montenegro. The point of connection of our system with the Bulgarian is on the east border in the municipality of Deve Bair. High-pressure part of the distribution pipeline system is designed for physical capacity of 800 million normal cubic meters of natural gas a year on working pressure of 40bar. The main measurement station (MMS) located in the area of Zhidilovo with capacity of 240.000 Nm3/h. Design pressure of the natural gas pipeline can be over 54bar. On the Linear part there are tracking facilities, a dispatch-parlor cleaning station,8 block stations on main system, 8 block stations on the distributing system and cathode protection. On the high-pressure part there are five main measuring and control stations (MMCS). Through these stations, high-pressure part is connected with low-pressure urban networks in Kriva Palanka, Kratovo, Kumanovo and Skopje. In these cities there are urban gas pipeline networks with a working pressure of 12bar. Users through the measuring and control stations are connected to city gas networks (CGN). Facilities:
