ACCOUNT SET UP INSTRUCTIONS - OUTLOOK

OUTLOOK 365

1.) Click on the File tab and click on the Account Settings button

2.) From here you will see your email accounts listed. Click on New to setup a new email address

3.) Type in your email address and click on Advanced settings below. Check off “Let me setup my

account manually”. Click on Connect.

5.) Use the following as your account settings:

• Incoming Mail

o Server: mail.all-mail.ca

o Port: 143

o Encryption Method: None

o Make sure “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” is NOT

checked off

• Outgoing Mail

o Server: mail.all-mail.ca

o Port: 587

o Encryption Method: None

o Make sure “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” is NOT

checked off

• Click Next

6.) Type in your password and click Next

7.) Your Account is now setup

Incoming mail server: mail.all-mail.ca

Outgoing mail server: mail.all-mail.ca

Outgoing server requires authentication

User ID is your email address

Password is the password for the email address

Use port 587 for outgoing and port 143 for incoming (Default settings)

DO NOT use SSL

1.) Click on Office button (or File) and click on the Account Settings button

2.) From here you will see the Account Settings window with Email tab open, if you have configured

multiple accounts then all of them will be listed here. Double click on your email account to bring up

your settings.

3.) Enter your account information as provided.

Account Type: IMAP

Incoming mail server: mail.all-mail.ca

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.all-mail.ca

Username: (your email address)

Password: (password for your email address)

**Make sure “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” is NOT checked off

4.) Click on more settings > Outgoing Server

5.) Check the box “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”

7.) Click on the “Advanced” tab and set your outgoing server port to 587. Leave your incoming server

port at 143

8.) Click on OK > Next > Finish.

Your account should now be set.

**Be sure to test account setting to ensure your settings are correct. You can do this by clicking the “test

Account Settings” button in the set-up window or by sending yourself a test message.

OUTLOOK 2007

1.) In Outlook click on Tools > Account Settings and then select the account you would like to edit.

2.) Under User Information, follow these steps:

i. In the Your Name box, type your full name.

ii. In the Email Address box, type your full e-mail address.

iii. Under Server Information, select POP3 from the Account Type box.

iv. Incoming mail server: mail.all-mail.ca

v. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.all-mail.ca

vi. Logon Information:

• Username: enter your email address

• Password: enter the password we supplied for your account

4.) Click on more settings > Outgoing Server

5.) Check off “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.” And make sure you have “Use same

settings as my incoming mail server.”

6.) Click on the “Advanced” tab and set your outgoing server port to 587. Leave

your incoming server port at 143.

7.) Click on OK > Next > Finish.

• Your account should now be set.

**Be sure to test account settings to ensure your settings are correct. You can do this by clicking the “test

Account Settings” button in the set-up window or by sending yourself a test message.

EDIT AN EMAIL ACCOUNT

1.) Open Mail.

2.) Once you’ve opened Mail, click on the menu labeled “Mail,” and select “Preferences.”

3.) Make sure you have the Accounts Icon selected. You’re presented with a window which contains

three tabs, “Account Information, “Special Mailboxes,” and “Advanced.” First, let’s look at the

“Account Information” tab.

i. The Account type was determined when you set up the account. You cannot change it unless

you delete this account and create a new one. The account type is POP.

ii. Description can be whatever you like, but it is recommended that you use something

descriptive Like Reeve Mail.

iii. Email Address should be your email address.

iv. Full Name can be your name, or whatever text you’d like to be seen as your name when you

send email.

v. Incoming Mail Server should be mail.all-mail.ca 6. “User Name” should be your full email

address.

vi. Password is the password for you email password (case sensitive).

vii. Click on “Server Settings”

4.) You can edit the Outgoing Mail Server by pressing the “Server Settings” button.

i. The Outgoing Mail Server should be mail.all-mail.ca

ii. The Server port” should be 587

iii. Set the authentication and enter your full email address for the username and your email

password (case sensitive)

iv. Click on OK

1.) Open Mail and click

on the menu icon

6.) Enter your account information:

Email: Your Email

Username: Your Email

Password: Your Password

Account Name: Your organization

Send your messages using this name: Your Name

Account Type: IMAP4

Incoming email server: mail.all-mail.ca

Outgoing email server: mail.all-mail.ca

7.) Make sure you have Require SSL unchecked for both

the incoming and outgoing server.

When you’re finished select Sign In and you will be

finished.

22 Creating an Autoresponder

CREATING AN AUTORESPONDER

1.) Open your email using webmail at http://mail.all-mail.ca:3000/

2.) Click on the Settings Icon located on the right-hand corner

3.) Select Autoresponder from the choices listed

4.) Check off Enable Autoresponder and choose the dates and times you want the autoresponder to be

sent (if necessary)

5.) Type in the Auto-reply message and click the save icon on the left-hand side.

WINDOWS LIVE MAIL

1.) Click on the “Add an e-mail account button located on the left (refer image above), or go to “Tools” -

> “Accounts” and hit the “Add” button. Now choose “E-mail Account”. If you’re using Windows

Live 2011 click on the tab Accounts, then add Email icon.

Whichever path you take, you should get the Add an E-mail Account window similar to one below. Enter

your email address, your password and display name. Ensure the “Remember password” box is checked

unless you are paranoid about security and want to enter the password every time you access your

account. Hit the “Next” button to continue.

2.) You now need to select your incoming mail server type and type in the address and port number.

i. Server Type: POP

ii. Incoming mail server: mail.all-mail.ca

iii. Port Number: 143

iv. SSL NOT checked off

v. Log on using: Clear text authentication

vi. Login ID: leave as is

Outgoing Server Information:

i. Outgoing server: mail.all-mail.ca

ii. Port: 587

iii. SSL NOT checked off

iv. “My outgoing server requires authentication” checked off

3.) To continue, click on the “Next” button

4.) The Windows Live Mail setup process is now complete. You have a choice of setting the new account

as the default by checking the box.

IPHONE SET UP

1.) Press the Settings icon on

your dashboard

2.) Press Accounts &

Passwords

3.) Press Add Account

the password provided by All-Net.

**All passwords are case sensitive**

9.) Input your incoming mail server settings

• Host name: mail.all-mail.ca

• Username: your email

• Password: your password

10.) Input your outgoing mail server settings

• Host name: mail.all-mail.ca

• Username: your email

• Password: your password

11.) Select Next

12.) You will see this pop up appear twice, select

Yes for both

13.) After your settings have successfully been

added you will see a page with Mail and

Notes checked off. Leave these checked off

and select Save

ANDROID SET UP

1.) Tap Apps from the Home Screen and

tap Email or open your email app

from your main screen.

Note: If you can’t find the Email app

shortcut from the Apps screen, open the

Samsung folder. On some GS7 variants,

the Email app is located in the Samsung

folder.

2.) Click on Add New Account

3.) If you have an email address, click on More >

Settings>Add Account

4.) Type in your email address and password.

5.) Tap Manual Setup

6.) Select IMAP account from the account list

1. Fill in the details as shown below, then touch

Next

i. Email Address: your full email

address

ii. Username: your full email address

iii. Password: your account password

iv. IMAP server: mail.all-mail.ca

v. Security type: None

vi. Port: 143

2. Your device will attempt to connect to the

incoming server with the settings you have

entered. If unsuccessful, you will be prompted

to Edit details; confirm your settings and try

again. If the connection is successful, you will

be taken to the Outgoing server settings

screen. Enter your outgoing server settings

and touch Next

i. SMTP server: mail.all-mail.ca

ii. Security type: None

iii. Port: 587

iv. Username: Your full email address

v. Password: Your account password

9.) Wait for your device to verify if the server settings you enter are all correct. If your device

successfully connects to the server using the settings you entered, you will be prompted with the Sync

schedule screen.

10.) Configure sync options according to your preference.

11.) Tap SIGN IN.

12.) You will be asked to give this internet mail account a unique on-screen name. The unique account

name is used to differentiate this account from other email accounts on your mobile device. Enter

Your name as you would like it to be displayed on outgoing messages. Touch Done.

13.) Tap DONE to complete the process. After that, you should see email messages populating your

inbox.

BLACKBERRY SET UP

1.) You will first need to go to the MTS BlackBerry website at the following link.

https://mtsm.blackberry.com/

• From here you will be asked to enter your username and password and follow the instructions.

Once you are in and have entered your email address and password the BlackBerry should

connect automatically and synch with the new server.

• Enter your BlackBerry username and password

2.) Click on Set Up Email Account

3.) Now your account will be added to your phone and will appear under Email Accounts. From here

double click on your new account to check the settings.

4.) Here you will see your information about your account. Click on Advanced Settings.

5.) Make sure your Email Server is mail.all-mail.ca, then click on Save]

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD

If you do not know your password click on “Forgot Password”

From here you will be asked for your pin. The images below will show you how to find the pin number

on your BlackBerry.

Once you enter your pin you will be sent a password on your BlackBerry.

From here you will now be able to login to the MTS BlackBerry website and configure your BlackBerry

to the new mail server by following the instructions in step 1.

HOW TO FIND YOUR BLACKBERRY PIN

1.) On your BlackBerry screen find the icon

labeled Options and select it

2.) Once you find Options, scroll down to Status,

and select it

3.) Now you will be able to see your BlackBerry

PIN
