A special thank you to my brother Jared

Bigelow and to Colonel Tom Isom for being positive role models that cared enough to

invest their time, attention, and wisdom into the lives of these

young men. We wouldn’t have been able to attend this

event without the two of you. THANK YOU!

On a Friday night in January we took 7 young men to Mt. Juliet to hear Coach Phillip Fulmer speak. This was more than just any speaker or speech; as one of our young men said, “It’s going to be a dream to meet Peyton Manning’s Coach!”

Coach Fulmer spoke about not just building a championship team, but building a championship team that had great character.

What a great experience for these young men. Not only because they were able to sit in the same room as Coach Fulmer, but it was an opportunity to have a Friday night out of their motel rooms.

This event was about planting seeds of hope and inspiration so these young men can discover the world of opportunity

outside of their motel door.

Girls’ night! Pizza, bounce houses, and basketball on a Saturday night! What could be better? We were blessed to be able to take the girls out to MTSU for the basketball game against our rivals of the north, Western Kentucky. It was not only a win for the Lady Raiders, but for these young ladies too! The golf cart ride from the parking lot to Murphy Center was by far their highlight of the night. A HUGE thank you to Jerri Isom & Jeannie Bigelow. They both dedicated their Saturday night to give these girls some extra attention and love.

Volunteer Spotlight: We would like to thank the Isom Family for their commitment to the Foundation. As a family, they have not only dedicated their time, but have championed our Saturday to-go lunch sacks. Tom and Jerri have two children that we are so proud of! Ruby and Audrey have shown kindness, compassion, and maturity each Saturday they have joined us. They always look out for the other kids and help to make sure everyone has someone to play with!

The entire Isom family dedicated their Christmas of 2015 to charities they wanted to support by donating instead of exchanging gifts! What an inspiring way to celebrate Christmas! Thank you Isom Family!

“We think sometimes that poverty is only

being hungry, naked, and homeless. The

poverty of being unwanted, unloved,

and uncared for is the greatest poverty.” -Mother Teresa

The Endure Athletics Foundation provides children who are considered homeless and in unstable situations a safe, structured, and encouraging environment to participate in fitness and athletics. Every Saturday the Foundation provides transportation from motels to the ‘Field of Dreams’. This field provides a platform to teach self-confidence, character building, goal setting, and leadership skills. Because we believe in nurturing the whole child, we also provide a homemade breakfast and send the children home with to-go lunches; hunger doesn’t know the school schedule. Donations can be made at www.EndureAthletics.Club The Endure Athletics Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) through its affiliation with the RRCA.
