Theoverallresultssuggestthatafull-onfirecontrolsystemprovidesbenefit,butalsocoststhatmustbetakenintoconsideration

Havingthefirecontrolsystemreleasetheroundwastimeconsuming,resultinginsignificantlylongerengagementtimes,especiallyatlongdistances

AsystemthatincorporatesalaserrangefinderandeasytoapplyholdsmaybesufficienttoachievemostofthebenefitsseenwithATE,withouttheaccompanyingpenaltyontimetoengage

AsystemwithanLRFandballisticcomputerthatdisplaysthefiringsolutiontotheshooter,butthatleavesshotreleasetotheshootermayrepresentaperfectbalanceofautomationandmanualcontrolAtrialtoinvestigatesightingsystemswiththesecharacteristicsiscurrentlybeingplanned
