I’ve been an athlete my whole life, I never thought that getting back in the gym would be the hardest thing for me to do. Since I moved down from Alaska I gained almost 30 pounds in a year. I quit wearing my size 6 jeans because I couldn’t fit into them and I was too ashamed of myself to buy the next size up, so I began wearing yoga pants to hide my weight. Since I’ve been training with Stephen I’ve lost a bunch of my fat that accumulated over my belly/legs the whole year I lacked in exercise. I feel better about myself, I’m back in my size 6 jeans and I’ve got WAY more energy than I did when we first started training. The hardest thing for me was the nutrition, I could spend all day in the gym

working my butt off, but at the end of the day that wasn’t the problem. Stephen helped me gain knowledge on eating correctly and once I got that down, everything fell into place and I even lost 8lbs in a week!! He does a great job in motivating me and not allowing me to slack off at all. I even try to barter with him sometimes but he gives me no leeway and I’m glad he doesn’t! My short term goals would be to continue the process of getting fit, healthy and long term, making this a lifestyle for myself. In the end, fitness is one of the only things that is honest, there are no shortcuts to get the body that I want, only hard work and dedication.

Start weight: 176.4lbs with 30.2% Bodyfat "Unhealthy" December 2013: 159.4lbs with 24.8% Bodyfat "Fit"
