The celebration highlights three main events: Aperitivo Italiano, traditional pre-dinner cocktails, L’Artisan, an exclusive dinner by Michelin Star Chef Rocco Iannone, and That’s Amore, a concert of best-loved Italian songs with the Manila Symphony Orchestra.

An authentic Aperitivo Italiano experience awaits you at Sage Bar, where you can enjoy tapas, great wine, and excellent company after a long day at work.

Relive the tradition of an authentic Italian “happy hour.” Italians gather at their favorite restaurant, bar, or hotel to make friends and socialize over fine wines, cocktails, and antipasti.

Cap off the lifestyle experience as Italian luxury brands Ducati, Paul & Shark and Piquadro present their latest collection. Lucky guests will get a chance to win luxury gift items from our Italian partners.

Tickets are at Php1,500 net inclusive of antipasti buffet and selected drinks. Pre-booking and pre-payment of tickets is required.

Lobby LoungeOctober 22 Pre-concert cocktails will start at 6:30 p.m. l Concert proper will start at 7:30 p.m.

The 30-piece Manila Symphony Orchestra, along with three tenors and one soprano will transform the Lobby Lounge into musical theatre reminiscent of Italy’s cultural centers for performing arts. Entitled “That’s Amore,” the repertoire includes the best-loved Italian pieces, classic and contemporary.

Tickets are at Php1,850 net inclusive of pre-concert cocktails. Pre-booking and pre-payment of tickets is required.

Michelin-starred Chef Rocco Iannone will take you on a gastronomic journey through a five-course dinner entitled “L’Artisan”. Demonstrating respect for ingredients, he has created a menu of traditional Italian dishes and light classics exclusively for discerning guests of Makati Shangri-La. Each dish blooms with flavor when paired with premier estate family wines including: Antinori on October 20, Chiarlo on October 21, Masi Agricola on October 22, and Allegrini on October 23.

Tickets are at Php 5,500 ++ (5-courses) Pre-booking and pre-payment of tickets is required.

Meet and greet the young Michelin-starred chef Rocco Iannone who is an exceptional pillar in

Italian gastronomy. For Chef Rocco, every dish is inspired by the sea, the land, colors, flavors,

aroma, and authenticity using fresh ingredients of the highest quality. Known for

being the owner-chef of Pappacarbone on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, each creation is a synthesis of traditional and contemporary cooking styles

and reflects his Neapolitan approach.
