DATES TO REMEMBER

YOUTH SUPER BOWL PARTY – will be at the home of Jared Phelps on Sunday, February 5th beginning at 5:30pm. Kick-off is at 6:30pm. See a member of Youth Council for what to bring.

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING – will be Monday night, February 5th at 7:00pm.

CRABB FAMILY CONCERT – We will be taking a group of folks to see the Crabb Family “Back to Our Roots Tour” in Greensboro on Friday, February 10th. The concert will begin at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets will be $20.00 per person. Please contact the church office if interested in going.

2ND CUPID’S CHILI COOKOFF – will be Sunday, February 12th from 11:00am – 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. This will be a youth fund raiser and is open to anyone in the church. See flyer in bulletin.

EASTER DRAMA MEETING – There will be a meeting on Thursday night, February 23rd in the Sanctuary at 7:00pm to discuss the 2017 Easter Drama. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to come to the meet. If you are interested and cannot make the meeting, please contact Tommie Jean Evans to let her know.

YOUTH SKI TRIP – The TBC Youth Group will be going to Beech Mountain on a Ski Trip the weekend of Friday, February 24th – Sunday, February 26th. Total cost of the trip will be approximately $190.00/person ($20.00 extra for snowboarding). $40.00 deposits are due by February 1st. For more details see a member of the Youth Council.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – We will be doing the same thing for Operation Christmas Child this year that we did in 2016. Each month we will list in the bulletin the items we are collecting. These items may be placed in the box in the corridor leading to the Fellowship Hall. At the end of the year, we will have a packing night when all the boxes will be packed with the items we have collected. In addition, we would like for you to bring in you discarded twist ties off bread products that you use as well as those from trash bags (if you don’t use them). Also, if you eat at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), please donate the red topped container that sides come in. Please wash the containers before bringing them in. Thanks.
