Let's all imagine what will happen to the future ahead of us. Together, let us explore the year 2025, eleven years from now on. Year 2025, it was already 9:31 in the morning when I woke up. It's a good thing today is Saturday,a work-free day. I was still exhausted because of the yesterday's events. I am the one assigned to make the coverage for this year's celebration of World Youth Day. Even though my work, wear me out, I still love it. Being a CNN International Correspondent is my dream since High School. I love my job because I get to meet a lot of people. New faces, new experiences. I will never regret being a reporter and a journalist. I thank God everyday because He is always there guiding and helping me until I finally got the fruit of my hard work. I offer eveything to Him. I really cant believe its been five years since I got the job. Wow! Five years! Now I think is the right time for some well-earned vacation. I truly needed some time to rest and relax. After I finish taking a cold shower, I called my boss and told him I would like to take a two-week leave. He said yes. Finally, I can get to enjoy my time! I opened my laptop, I bought two years ago from the biggest gadget selling company in U.S owned by Noel P. Vargas. I went to my website and updated my newest story. I dedicate this work to my very supportive friend, who never failed to read my stories,Jella Cortinas, who is now the CEO of one of the worlds top Engineering Company which she co-owned with Roven Arcilla, Neve Morales, Joshua Cyril De Castro and Laisa Andes . As I scroll down the pages of my blog, someone emailed me, and guess who? Its my friend Luzfre Junsay, now a successful businesswoman! She is telling me that I have to come back to the Philippines to attend our much awaited batch reunion or else shell hunt me down and drag me back there. Of course, I told her yes, you wouldnt want to anger her if you know what I mean. After all, I am really planning to spend my vacation there. After another thirty minutes I shut the laptop off and head down the stairs and went straight to the kitchen looking for my recipe book which is written by none other than Christine Macasaet, one of the best chef in the world. I flip through the pages until finally, I saw my favorite. While waiting for the food, I turned the radio on and suddenly a soft female voice came out and surrounded the room ,I am totally wonderstruck! Its my favorite broadway singer! Fatima Valenzona! The lyrics is familiar, I think its written by the most soughted composer, Jomarie Carl Asoy. What a small world. After 10 more minutes, the food is ready. I turned off the radio and opened the T.V and guess whos starring the lead role in I Heart You series? it is none other than Jona Dalena! After watching it, I wait for the next show, and wow! Is that Jasper Oliverio? He is the new playing coach of the leading basketball team? Amazing! And guess who are the players? They are, Dickson Cervantes, Harold Garcia, Jason Tahdlangit,Deniel Capuno,Aaron Manaco,Luis Serquina,Gabriel Arciaga and finall, Neil Jan Solidum Angeles, their team captain.After another hour, I shut the T.V off and went to my desk and grab my phone, I got two miscalls and one message from my friend Maruja Datul, the owner of one of the leading Fashion Company in Paris. She is currently having her vacation in the Philippines. She asked me if I heard the good news. I replied, what good news? She replied back, Someones about to marry! that made me curious who? thats a secret, thats for you to found out. Youre the reporter, you are always updated Very funny, I say I told her. The next messages came in a blur. Finally, I decided to go shopping for my vacation, Ill call the airline company later which is owned by my best friend Jeff Malonzo. I went to a big mall, owned by Renjoie Soriano which she co-owned with Owen Patnugot, and went straight to the department store. I looked for some shirts and pants and some dresses to wear on the reunion. After a half hour I decided that this is enough and went to the cashier. As I wait for my turn, I took some magazines beside the counter,I looked at the Enchanted magazine first, which is, owned by the strong couple, Roselyn Isiderio and Roly Argana. I am so thrilled to see whos in the cover, its Angel Santos! I looked at the contents and saw that Paola Mae Tarre is the make-up artist, not just your ordinary make-up artist,but a hollywood make-up artist. As I scan through the pages, I am stunned to see such beautiful mansion owned by the worlds billionaires! And guess who are the ones designing it? Its Donnaly Omol, Nhelyn Garcia and Nica Santos . I took the second magazine, the MeD Mag and saw that Bermond Caballero and his team of doctors is the cover, oh wait, they are all my batchmates!I know all of them, they are Frances Leanne del Monte, Charisse Fernandez, Donna Velasquez and Micole Manongsong. Finally, after years of hardworking and sacrifice, they finally found out the cure for Alzheimer disease which save a thousands of lives worldwide. Miss, youre holding out the line. the voice of the cashier startled me and I mumble an apology. I didnt realize that Im the next in line. After making a hasty exit in the department store, I went to Walmart next to buy some vitamins. I was surprised to see Mary Joyce Cuevas there as the pharmacist. We made a small talk about the upcoming reunion and told me that shes coming too. After an hour or so, I am getting hungry and realized its past 1: OO oclock in the afternoon already, I said goodbye to her and exited the store.

I went to my favorite restaurant, The Spice owned by Johrenz Paguio, Danlord Recososa and Christine Layugan. They are serving the best desserts in town. While eating a soup, I am listening to the voice of Angelica Sepina, a pop star, which is currently playing on the radio. She really had a great voice. As Im passing by I saw a large bike shop, which is onwed by Gabriel Mercado. There, you can see alots of bikes form biggest to smallest of size. As Im about head home I realized I had to stop by the bank and withdraw some cash. Once inside, I was surpirsed to see Merie Joy Taglinao there. We engage in some small chit chat and told her I have to go home. I hope that we will meet again in the reunion. THE REUNION! I almost forgot about that, I havent got my ticket yet. I hurriedly called for a taxi. On my way, I saw a very well known Beauty Boutique owned by Princess Bolasco. She specializes in styling dresses and accessories for teens and teens at heart. I was fond of watching the things outside the car until one billboard caught my eyes.There, you can see Jovi Materiano wearing his signature style. I am about to doze off when we reach my house. I called the airline immediately and arranged my flight. Im leaving tommorrow. I couldnt wait any longer. I cant sleep tonight the very thought of leaving tommorrow sends a shot of excitement through my body, so I guess I have to do something to make me a little bit sleepy. I went through my shoppinng bags and took the Enchanted Magazine out. Then I read an article made by Maria Cloniel Javierto. After reading another article, I became too sleepy. I didnt realized I am dozing off.

The ringing sound of alarm of my phone awakens me. After an hour of preparing I am finally ready. In another hour or so, I am finally sitting in one the best seats of the finest plane of the world. I cant believe my eyes when I saw that I knew some of the sterwardess here, they are none other than Remie Magtibay, Johannes Mae Carig and Menchie Mutuc. I am getting bored so I turned my attention at the T.V they currently airing the championship game of the UAAP, and I am very proud and amazed to know some of the players namely, Princess Faye de Padua, Aileen Capili, Ericka Joie Delos Santos. And the coach? Its Timothy Reyes. Its already 12:00 when the games finished. The stewards are serving some delicious Asian meal, when I asked whose cooking it, I am amazed to know that they are Hazel Abarca and John Labong. I watched the next T.V show, which features the dancing group, The Elites whose members are, Kurt Moncayo, Divine Tividad which is interrupted suddenly by a big news, I was so shocked to see the familiar face of the speaker of the president! Its Jason Guillergan, he is congratulating some of our Marine and Air force members,John Arthur dela Pena, Patricia Mae Gascon,Art Gonzales, Raymarc Sosa and Joy Baguio,by almost sacrificing themselves in call of duty while having peace talk with the rebels of the country. I didnt realized the time passing by, after 12 hours, Im finally here! Wow! How I missed my country! As Im heading home, I stopped over the Our Lady Of The Abandoned Parish to pray. I am waiting for a tricycle when someone taps my shoulder, I turn around to see some of my classmates who are now teaching in OLACS! They are none other than Dhea Mae Guitierez, Honeyfemalyn Martinez, Dan Zulueta, Cristine Fridah Francisco, and Kassandra Pacampara! I hugged evey one of them and said SEE YOU AT THE REUNION TOMMORROW!

Day of the reunion After eating breakfast, I went to the balcony and read the newspaper. And guess what is the headline! TWO FEMALE LAWYER SAVE HUNDREDS OF LIVES! I am stunned to read the names of the two female lawyers.... its Mariel Glydell Cave and Gian Audrey Delos Santos, they are being praised for fighting for the case of hundreds of children, victims of child trafficking. As I turned to the next page a beautiful painting caught my eyes, it is painted by Ron Porlahe which being sold at the art shop of Angelique Pamatian, a very successful illustraitor of thousands of novels. I suddenly remember my friend, Legacy del Rosario, now a successful doctor at St. Lukes Medical Center. Aside from being a doctor, she had another job, it is helping out children with artistic talents to improve their skills. She organized this workshop two yers ago.I turn to page 5 and found out that my friends, John Karl Niebres and Ralph Villano had been awarded for creating the most advance web application in the world.

Reunion Night,

The reunion is hosted by Roselyn Isiderio. The venue is at the famous Hotel called The Emperors Palace owned by Bon Guiyab, Mark Andes,and Neil Patrick Arano which is managed by Renzo Carl Briones, they told me that this hotel is once a small apartment then their friend Axell Remigio a General Relations Officer of Sykes helped them, this once two-story building became a true Emeperors Palace .I cant really believe my eyes, everyones here! Everyone take turns to hug their friends, theirs no awkwardness. Everyone is happy. After a while, we started eating delicious delicacies personaally cooked by Top Chef Tirson Seculan. Then Roselyn told us the greatest and most memorable announcement of the year! She is about to be married with her long time boyfriend, Roly Argana! Everyone is invited to the big wedding.

It doesnt matter if years had passed, the only thing that matters is the bond that we had.the bond that surpasses all the years of hardship, trials and distance over friendship. The reunion is not about who made it big or who lose it, its aboutremembering the past that leads us into this bright present. What I can say right now is that time passed by so quickly for us, its just very easy to reminisce our high school days, but impossible to return to. My batch mates are all professionals in their respective fields, and I thank God for giving such honor of spending my most wonderful times with people like them.

It is very true that in life, trials may put a frown in our face, and the sunshine may turn into rain. But never forget to live, laugh, love and learn from every pain, every trial, every winning and every loosing.What a wonderful future we have? Isnt it?

As the saying says, There is only one success to spend your life in your own way. Through living your life by what your heart says, there will sure be happiness, for happiness can be found in your heart, not in money, not in power. Built your way, and reach for the top.I may become a writer of fantasies but Im pretty sure that in real life, we will become real achievers. At the end point of my pen, I can write that, in the end, each of us is a writer of his own masterpiece.

I maybe expressing stories full of achievements and success, but I believe that part of it, are failures and hardships to become a triumphant one.

Also, part of our reality experience tonight, lets treasure and enjoy the rest of the night for this experience will become part our great experiences in life.
