One ofthe first landscapes to be designated in 1958, theSurrey Hills boasts a diverse and rich landscapejust waiting to be discovered.

This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretchesacross the chalk North Downs that run from Farnhamin the west, above Guildford, Dorking and Reigate, to

Oxted in the east. To thesouth are the Greensand Hillsthat include Black Down, theDevil’s Punch Bowl and LeithHill. In between are theriver valleys of the Wey,Tillingbourne and Mole.
