Who is your favorite Author and why?My favorite author is J.K. Rowling because she wrote my favorite series, Harry Potter.

What genre do you prefer to read?I love reading romance books.

Where do you learn about books you might want to read in the future?I learn about new books to read from my friends at school.

Where do you like to read best?I like reading in my room or outside under a tree - both are very quiet places to read.

When is your favorite time of the day to read and why?My favorite time to read is in the afternoon after school.

There is a girl named Hazel, and she has problems with her lungs. Her mom

makes her go to support group; one day there is a new guy staring at her. His name is Augustus. Hazel and Augustus start hanging out. Hazel makes him read one of her favorite books, An Imperial Affl iction. He reads it and loves it. One day Augustus surprises Hazel with a picnic where he tells her that with his wish (Make A Wish Foun-dation) that he is going to take her to meet the author of the book, Peter Van Houten. Right before they go, Hazel ends up in the ICU. Aft er she gets better, she is approved to go on the trip. Once she gets there they have one day before they meet Peter, so Hazel and Augustus go to a restaurant. When they get to Peter’s house he goes crazy and the kids fi nd out he is an alco-holic and it doesn’t go too well. Th ey go to Anne Frank’s house, where they kiss for the fi rst time. Augustus tells Hazel that he has cancer, and shortly aft er, the two struggle with fate. Hazel then learns that Augustus has something very special for her.
