Celebrity Boxing For Our Troops will be an evening toremember! Strategically positioned between the Pro

Bowl on Sunday, January 31st and the Super Bowl onSunday, February 7th, Celebrity Boxing For Our Troopswill be held on Wednesday, February 3rd, takingadvantage of the excitement and celebrity crowdsgathered in South Florida.

Many famous faces, including professional boxers, NFLstars, movie and television elite, music greats andcelebrity judges, will join our special military guests tohonor and support the troops.

This extraordinary event is being held in the 19,000+

seat state-of-the-art BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise,Florida. 10,000 tickets will be sold with 9,000 ticketsbeing donated to our men and women in uniform, their friends and family.

Kelsey Grammer: Known to all as Frasier from the hit television series “Cheers” and“Frasier” Kelsey donates much of his timeand energy to the troops.

John Ratzenberger: Also of “Cheers”fame, “Cliff Clavin” is a staple on theUSO circuit. John’s love of country isalso apparent in his 2003-2008 series“Made In America”.

Founded out of tragedy in 1994, TAPS hasestablished itself as the front line resource to the families andloved ones of our military men and women. TAPS providescomfort and care through comprehensive services andprograms including peer based emotional support, case work

assistance, crisis intervention, and grief and traumaresources. By training the soldiers in a challenging &rewarding activity it can help facilitate the rehabilitationprocess & promote mobility.



TheCelebrity Boxing For Our Troops will be filmed in itsentirety and submitted to the GI Film Festival.

Award winning Executive Producer MichaelAppelbaum will weave behind the scenes footagewith candid interviews, celebrity boxing action,heartwarming and heartbreaking stories from thetroops, along with educational vignettes to create aunique and compelling film.

Between each of six boxing bouts, 2-3 minuteentertaining videos will be shown honoringindividuals, organizations and our troops.Interspersed throughout the evening will be highenergy music and surprises…. Truly a night to
