With country-chic décor and thirty three bedrooms, including twenty elegant suites, the Feversham Arms Hotel and Verbena Spa is a magical and romantic backdrop for your wedding and a wonderful way to begin your honeymoon. Our exceptionally high standards of service combined with our renowned relaxed atmosphere, ensures you and your guests have the most memorable day.

The outdoor heated pool (open all year round) provides an impressive background for photos. It’s also a great area for Champagne cocktails prior to your Wedding Breakfast in the summer months, and a steaming backdrop in the winter. Some couples choose to marry in All Saints church right next door, with room for up to 100 people for the ceremony. Alternatively we have our Churchill Suite – perfect for a small intimate civil ceremony.

All of our residents can enjoy complimentary access to our Verbena Spa, which has six single treatment rooms and one double treatment room for couples. Why not pamper yourself and your friends with the Pink Ladies package - an ideal Hen Party idea. The day or week before the big day we can create a ‘Bride-to-be’ day in the spa to ensure you are glowing and refreshed. The Verbena Spa Heat Experience combines use of the saunarium, aromatherapy room, monsoon shower and foot spas inside, while outside, our Jacuzzi and heated pool provide a uniquely revitalising experience.

We are proud to be able to cater at the highest level for your Wedding Breakfast, whether you choose a traditional menu or perhaps something a little different. If your wedding has a theme, let us know. We are happy to accompany the theme with a suitable menu. Perhaps a Tuscan feel with alfresco dining and cocktails by the pool. Or a medley of delicious canapés in our spa garden designed by Matthew Wilson, of the Royal Horticultural Society.

When you decide to get married at the Feversham Arms Hotel we help you plan your wedding to suit you, not to suit us. As you will be the only wedding at the hotel, you can decide the theme of your day, your wedding breakfast menu and where to capture those important photos!

Naturally an experienced helping hand is always available to guide you through the whole experience, ensuring that every meticulous detail is taken care of so that on your special day you only have to turn up and enjoy yourselves.

All weddings at the Feversham are based on one of the two options detailed on the next page and a bespoke proposal will be written for you once a few details have been discussed.

Wedding Day Package

Smaller weddings with an intimate feel can enjoy a bespoke experience for a Wedding Ceremony and Celebration for up to 30 guests in our Churchill Suite.

- Civil ceremony room hire - Champagne reception and canapés- Three course wedding breakfast served in a private room- Half a bottle of house wine per person served with the meal- One glass of champagne per person for the toast

Enjoy absolute exclusivity of the hotel from 12pm on your wedding day until 12pm the following day.

The hotel nestles on the edge of the North York Moors, yet within 20 minutes of the A1M and easily reached from York, Leeds, and Teesside. Helmsley is approximately 10 miles from Sutton Bank on the A170 as you head towards the coast from Thirsk.

The area has a wealth of attractions including walking, cycling, horse riding and various RHS and stately gardens. The pretty villages and seaside towns such as Whitby and Goathland, as well as the Steam Railway and historic city of York, are just a stones throw away.

Step outside the doors of the hotel and you’ll find yourself in the heart of the market town of Helmsley, ideal for boutique shopping, delicatessens, superb art galleries, antique shops and much more.
