INTRODUCTION:The various categories of drivers are

1. Learners

2. Commercial Drivers

3. Working Class

4. Housewives

5. Teenagers

6. Senior Citizens

Drivers must drive safely and follow the basic traffic rules, a few of them are as follows

Stop your vehicle at signals. Wear your seatbelt/helmet. Do not communicate on your mobile while driving. Headlights should be used after sunset before sunrise. Never use high beam in city.

No parking on footpaths.

No free left turns at signals.

Honor zebra stripes even at places without signal.

SUMMARY:- FUEL USED BY DRIVERS Mostly everyone who drives uses Petrol & Diesel while there are very few who use eco-friendly fuels like CNG and Bio-fuel.

CONDITION OF MUMBAI ROADS Everyone thinks that there is a great scope for improvement of Mumbai roads. There are a lot of traffic jams and pot holes everywhere. VIEWS ABOUT THE TRAFFIC POLICEMEN Everybody believes that they are corrupt while others feel that it is only a handful of corrupt people. They are also known to have laid back attitude and taking bribes!

OPINION ABOUT ROAD RAGING Road Raging means car racing, unnecessary abusing while driving, dashing into other vehicles while driving etc... Almost everyone has been a witness to Road Raging. Some drivers want it to be prohibited.

OPINION ABOUT DRINK AND DRIVE All drivers have given a negative opinion about drinking and driving. They consider it to be dangerous and wish to spread awareness regarding its harmful effects.

WEARING A MASK WHILE DRIVING FEARING THE RECENT SWINE FLU Most of the drivers did wear a mask (50%).

CONCLUSION:-

Now-a-days driving has become a necessity. But one must be very careful while driving. A speed limit should be maintained. One must be a responsible driver and must avoid distractions while driving. The most important, one must not Drink and Drive and Road raging as it will lead nowhere.
