FINAL LAYOUT We are now in a position to let you know that the final course layout has now been approved. A copy of the proposed plan is attached. The following notes provide an explanation of how the proposed layout compares with the original course along with some notes on how the course is being played at the moment. The first thing you will note is that what we have traditionally known as the front nine virtually becomes the back part of the course and vice versa. 1st Hole is a Par 5 the original 8th Hole (currently 9th) 2nd Hole is a Par 3 the original 13th Hole (currently 10th). A new green and tee locations are currently under construction with the green to the left and below the original green. 3rd Hole is a Par 4 the original 14th Hole (currently 11th) Play will then proceed to the six new holes to be built on the old Lorna Street dump site. Whilst the attachment is the plan Turnpoint will be working toward, this area requires considerable reclamation to very strict environmental standards. This may result in a little tinkering as work progresses and challenges are met and overcome. It is not anticipated that there will be any significant changes. 4th Hole is a Par 3 and is a new hole heading west of the 3rd Green. 5th Hole is a Par 5 and is a new hole running alongside the wetlands. 6th Hole is a Par 4 and is a new hole proceeding parallel to the previous hole. 7th Hole is a Par 4 and is a new hole proceeding back in the opposite direction. 8th Hole is a Par 5 and is a new hole running along the eastern side of the property. 9th Hole is a Par 4 and is a new hole which runs adjacent to the old 15th Hole to a green on the old practice area. The original 15 th is replaced with this hole.

FINAL LAYOUT

We are now in a position to let you know that the final course layout has now been approved. A copy of the proposed plan is attached.

The following notes provide an explanation of how the proposed layout compares with the original course along with some notes on how the course is being played at the moment. The first thing you will note is that what we have traditionally known as the front nine virtually becomes the back part of the course and vice versa.

1st Hole is a Par 5 the original 8th Hole (currently 9th)

2nd Hole is a Par 3 the original 13th Hole (currently 10th). A new green and tee locations are currently under construction with the green to the left and below the original green.

3rd Hole is a Par 4 the original 14th Hole (currently 11th)

Play will then proceed to the six new holes to be built on the old Lorna Street dump site.

The original 15th is replaced with this hole.

10th Hole is a Par 4 the original 17th Hole (currently 16th). 11th Hole is a Par 3 and is on our old 18th fairway (currently 17th) A new green and tee locations are currently under construction with the green up beyond the current temporary 17th Green and the tee locations forward and to the right of the old 18th Tee. Upon completing the 11th, a short walk over the top of the hill and down past the original 18th green to the front of the clubhouse. The old 18th green will become the practice putting green.

12th Hole is a Par 4 the original 1st Hole (currently 1st) 13th Hole is a Par 5 the original 2nd Hole (currently 3rd). The short temporary 2nd hole will be removed from play. 14th Hole is a Par 3 the original 3rd Hole (currently 4th) 15th Hole is a Par 4 the original 4th Hole (currently 5th) 16th Hole is a Par 4 the original 5th Hole (currently 6th) 17th Hole is a Par 3 the original 6th Hole (currently 7th) 18th Hole is a Par 4 the original 7th Hole (currently 8th)

The proposed final course is a Par 71 as before and is 5817 metres, if all goes to plan, compared to 5937 metres for the original course. Due to prior use, the area of the new holes is subject to an environmental restriction that prevents the planting of trees in that area. No doubt this will present a “links” type feel, even though we are not near the ocean, but should complement well the original “park” like course. Our course has always been a comfortable course to walk with a degree of difficulty to suit both low and high handicap player. That feel will be retained in the development of the new course.

When all of the new holes are available for play, the original 11th, 12th, 13th and 16th holes will be closed and

become part of the retirement village, Stage 2 and Stage 3, as occurred with the 9th and 10th holes.

As you can see we will have a course split into 11 holes and 7 holes. Whilst this is different to what we are used to it does provide some flexibility. In addition to being able to play 9 or 18 holes, this layout offers a course a bit longer than 9 holes for the likes of our Thursday Vets comp and social players with limited time or, alternatively, a quick 7 holes social or practice hit out. The allocation of spaces on the timesheet will be altered to provide a balance so that competition fields are not subjected to any avoidable hold up. As more detailed information becomes available from Turnpoint, especially the detailed design information for the new holes, we will distribute Development Updates to provide you with an even more precise idea of the new layout. The next few pages provide a small preview of the exciting future that awaits us.
